After purchasing a certified pre-owned Volvo, I was promised a second key (apparently that’s a guarantee with CPOs). However, they did not have one bit promised to mail me one. I said I live hours away promised a second key (apparently that’s a guarantee with CPOs). However, they did not have one bit promised to mail me one. I said I live hours away, are you sure? The salesman said, “no problem. I’ll mail it tomorrow.” Weeks go by with no key. I made various attempts to contact them via text, phone, and email, and after two weeks, had the key mailed.The dealership finally mailed it out. However, it was blank and needed to be programmed. I calmly got in touch again, and asked why it wasn’t given/programmed when I was there. I received no response other than to visit my closest Volvo and they would reimburse me. I asked if they could simply pay the closer dealership, but they refused. After scheduling an appointment with Westlake Village Volvo, which is much nicer and more friendly, I emailed the general manager Khristopher Garwick the invoice for reimbursement. No response. I follow up a week later. No response. I email the finance department. No response. I email the business office. No response. It’s been a month. Terrible experience and I’ll be reviewing on every platform possible. Small claims court here we come. More
