Was having front end noise and went on a test drive with Ron and the mechanic to help identify the issue and they were able to cover the work under warranty. Service story changed 3 times I came in because my SRS (airbag) light had gone off. Until the issue was fixed, it would not inflate in an accident. I was told there would be a diagnostic charge (around $100, I forget the exact amount) regardless of outcome. After some time, I was told that the connection behind the steering wheel was bad. A short time later I was told no, it was that the floor mat in the front seat had ridden forward and separated a coupling. When I got the receipt, the technician had indicated it was a rear seat floor mat in question. It also was not clear whether a connection simply loosened because the floor mat hit it, or it damaged the connector in some way. Apparently this would have been covered under warranty if it had happened a few months ago, but now even the extended warranty was declared inapplicable because it was the fault of the owner. That this could happen at all makes me much inclined to return to Honda for my next vehicle (after two Toyotas from Crystal). The runaround I got about what the issue was does not instill confidence in Crystal service. The reason for 2 stars rather than 1 is that past service has been acceptable (if not great). More
The best dealship I've ever dealt with I have been going to Crystal for about 18 years and have bought 3 cars there. They have always been very good on new car price and w/excellent service I have been going to Crystal for about 18 years and have bought 3 cars there. They have always been very good on new car price and w/excellent service. The routine maintenance is priced much lower than other dealerships I've gone to in the past. They are friendly and generally quick on service so, often I can stay for an hour and be out. I recommend them highly. More
When I first purchased my 4Runner Crystal Auto mart was efficient now the service sucks. I waiting 3 hours b4 being told that the parts department sent the part back the day b4. Oil change and tire rotation 3 hour wait. I have a 2011 Hylander. I was at the dealer 2 hours before getting an update on my car which was another customers update. I needed filters changed but did not have time to stay at the dealer and the time at was approaching 3 hours at that point and I need to leave to take a work meeting. I have used the dealership since I bought my car but am considering using another dealership since this last oil change was too time consuming,I still need my filters changed and I was told I needed additional work which was explained incorrectly to me. A Little Confused I've been bringing my Toyota to Crystal Auto Mall since I purchased the car back in January of 2017 and have never had a problem. The employees in their service department have always been very friendly and informative. This past visit was different. My previous visit they stated my brakes would have to be checked to see if it was time to do maintenance on them. This current visit, all of a sudden the brakes were fine and it's the tires that may need replacing. I found it very confusing that all of a sudden the brakes were fine, when no maintenance has been done on them. Also this last time was the first time I wasn't given a printout of the work that was completed on my car and what may or may not need maintenance done. More

Upon getting into my car, I found my key fob removed and put into a cup holder. I guess the service tech (or whoever removed it) took offense to the key fob I had on it- a Greenbrook GMC fob. I also have a steering wheel cover on my steering wheel. There are a few bits missing previously. When I turned the wheel, a 3 inch piece came off in my hand. If the tech(or whoever) said I took a piece off by accident, I would have said "OK, no big deal, I know it was damaged." These seem to minor transgressions, but I could have been told. A simple courtesy. I suspect I will have to examine my Rav4 every time I take it for service. More
Most reliable mechanics I have been using this service department for over 20 years. During this time I've also had other mechanics from Toyota Morristown and Autoland on Rt I have been using this service department for over 20 years. During this time I've also had other mechanics from Toyota Morristown and Autoland on Rt 22 and a small garage in Berkeley Heights. My experience says that Crystal Toyota is clearly the most reliable and capable service department. They are a bit pricey but when a service is done the problems are fixed on all occasions. Very impressive. More

I left and went to another Toyota dealership who fixed my keys in 5 minutes and no cost to me. More
