I had a great experience with Crystal Auto Mall primarily due to the sales professional I had the good fortune to work with, Amy Elsayed. My journey to buy my 2014 4Runner took me 8 months! Which sounds cr due to the sales professional I had the good fortune to work with, Amy Elsayed. My journey to buy my 2014 4Runner took me 8 months! Which sounds crazy, I know, but I wanted to get a particular color, model, features, and Amr helped by searching the whole US for inventory that fit what I wanted. At that time a 2013, of course. Well, by May it became evident there were not going to be any 4Runners with the set-up I wanted. So Amr said he would check the 2014s when they started to be shipped and would find the one I wanted and make sure it was routed to Crystal. And that is exactly what he did. He kept me posted periodically as to what was or was not happening, and always returned my texts or emails or calls quickly. When the car had come in he called me, explained the type of check to get from my bank, all of that, so when I went to complete the transaction I was fully prepared with all my necessary documents and funds. Amr made all the difference, I believe. He is a good guy, and he keeps his word. What more can you ask for, right? This is the second car I have purchased from Crystal Auto Mall, the last one was in about 2005. I would definitely recommend the dealership, and I would definitely recommend asking specifically for Amr to assist you. I don't buy cars very often, but I hope when I need to buy another Amr is still at Crystal. I was treated very well from the first day I showed up, until three days ago when I left in my new 4Runner. Trust me, folks, Amr will make it easy and stress free as possible. More
I brought my car in for routine service, but they did not do anything. On the inspection form they put down that they checked the tire pressure for each tire, but the idiot light for tire pressure was sti do anything. Clearly, they did not even check the tire pressure, and probably did not rotate the tires either. This has happened to me before at this dealership. At a previous visit, they opened the valve under the engine to drain the oil out, and forget to put oil back in, but told me the car was ready to drive home, and the form was checked off, and signed off by the manager. I live a half hour from the dealership, and do not want to drive back with no oil in the engine, because this could severely damage the engine. I will never go back there for anything ever again, even if they offer free service. The main manger- Rob Avison- is on vacation, and the second in charge guy- Carl Wookey- went home early, so the workers are clearly goofing off. There is no one to watch them, so they are not doing their jobs. I will never buy a car there again, and will never have any car serviced there again. More
I'm not someone who buys big ticket items with joy and enthusiasm; in fact I find it to be a very stressful experience. So I was prepared to have a miserable experience when I walked into Crystal Auto Mall and Amr Elsayed walked up to me and asked if he could be of assistance. Suffice it to say that Amr was a delight to work with: knowledgable, thorough, cheerful, and unfailingly pleasant. When he heard that I wanted to have my picture taken with the Saturn before I took ownership of my new Prius C, he had my Saturn washed and parked next to the Prius for the "photo shoot." After the sale was complete, he took lots of time with me in the Prius explaining the technical aspects of a car, really going to extra mile for me. I also want to commend Barre Mizak; she was a delight to be with as she worked me through the singularly un-delightful and, for someone as mathematically challenged as myself, confusing aspects of the financing. She made what could have been opaque as clear as a sunny day. Thanks Amr, thanks Barre! Joy can be buying a new car. :<) More
What can I say about Crystal Auto Mall. They were fantastic to deal with. I was looking at a Rav 4. I went to several dealerships and they were not cooperative with me in regards to a lease. I went to Crystal Auto Mall and spoke to Jeff Bradley. I told him this was my last hope in getting my Rav 4 and they worked with me and I got my car that day. There was no gimmicks or speaking to twenty people. Mark & Jeff were great. I would do business with them again in a heartbeat. Thanks for getting me my Rav4 More
I went to the Crystal Auto Mall on Route 22 in Greenbrook on a very busy Saturday with the intention of test driving a Corolla or a Camry. I was accompanied by my sister, since she had recently bought a new on a very busy Saturday with the intention of test driving a Corolla or a Camry. I was accompanied by my sister, since she had recently bought a new car at another dealership and was more familiar with the process than me. We decided to look to see what was on the lot before we went inside to speak to someone. Amr Elsayed (sounded like “Omar” when he introduced himself) happened to be in the lot finishing with another customer and came over and asked if we had any questions about any of the cars on the lot. After I explained my driving needs, Amr said either a Corolla or a Camry could be suitable for me and suggested I test drive each to see which one I like. Amr asked me what kind of road I would like to test drive on. If I had been wary of highway driving (this is, after all, Route 22), Amr said he could direct me to something easier to maneuver. I chose a route that included Route 22, then up a steep hill (Warrenville Road) which led to a flat road (Rock Rd), then a winding road coming back down the hill (Washington Avenue). I felt this gave a good representation of different types of driving. After the test drives, I still was not sure which car I wanted, so Amr said we could go inside and make some comparisons of prices, features, etc. After a thorough discussion of the pricing for both cars, I decided on the Camry. Mark Tolomeo worked with Amr and me to find a price that I felt was fair. I had a price in mind based on research I had done online prior to coming to the dealership. They were able to meet my price, and in addition offered me a great deal on financing. You can’t beat that! Amr led me through the car buying process in a very friendly and particularly respectful way. I am a woman in my 60’s and never felt that he was trying to strong-arm me into buying something I don’t want or need. Amr was a gentleman in the old fashioned sense of the word. Lydia Frumova in Finance was very friendly and efficient in filling out all the paperwork that needed to be prepared and she made it possible for me to drive the car off the lot that very day. I received my plates and registration two days later. This is my first mid-size sedan, and I am very pleased with my Camry. I would recommend anyone who is interested in having a non-stressful car-buying experience to go to Crystal Auto Mall, and to ask for Amr Elsayed. More
