We had a wonderful experience and Deborah Dietrich was outstanding. She was very understanding of what we wanted and worked very well with my wife when I was out of town. I leased a Kia Forte from Tom "Cubby" McCubbin in 2010 and returned to Tom as my lease was coming to a close. I was interested in the Sportage. Based on the categories and ratings above, I would g in 2010 and returned to Tom as my lease was coming to a close. I was interested in the Sportage. Based on the categories and ratings above, I would give Tom a 5s "GREATs" but have chosen 4s given that I didn't think his colleagues were deserving of the same rating. When Tom was getting numbers for me on the Sportage, the manager or assistant manager who was in charge of setting the trade-in value, rebates, etc, didn't even introduce himself to me with a handshake or even a 'hello'. Instead, he told me the reasons why I shouldn't be interested in the Rav-4 or the Tuscson. Personally, I hate it when sales people do that - rip on other car companies/vehicles. Let the customer decide on that and instead they should focus on the positive points of what they are selling. At the end of the day, vehicles in the same category of type and price point are all going to be the same, and it will be the style/cosmetic items that will determine the buyer's decision, as well as the customer service. When I run into sales people who give me that line of approach, that is, insulting other cars/companies, I usually don't go with them. Oh, I'll buy that car if that's the one I like, but not from that dealership. In the end, though, I went with another dealership who offered me both higher rebates and a higher trade-in value. I only wish Tom McCubbin worked for the dealership I ended up with - simply because he's friendly, doesn't insult other cars/companies, and does a tremendous job at showing all the bells and whistles on the car. More
