Chris Jensen contacted me via phone and I agreed to come in the next day. I told him on the phone that I hate buying a vehicle. I would rather have a root canal than buy a vehicle. I told him that he was not going to keep my keys after he evaluated my vehicle either. The last two dealers I bought vehicles from did that. Like they are holding you hostage. I felt the need to call the FBI for kidnapping at those two dealers. I told him I was up side down on present vehicle and gave him the VIN number of the vehicle I was trading in and told him what my absolute bottom line was. I did not want to stay at the dealership a minute longer than I needed to. so, now I have picked 3 vehicles that I want to see. Chris shows them all to me. He is in no rush and we take our time. He is very knowledgeable on all 3 of the vehicles and answers all my questions. I told Chris Jensen which vehicle I absolutely loved and he went into the office of Bob Shaw. I could see them talking through the glass panel and turned to my daughter and said, ok, here is where the BS starts. I just knew they would low ball me on my trade in and try to make me go over my budget. Chris Jensen invited me into the meeting in the office and I answered a few questions for Bob Shaw. I really wanted the Kia Soul but thought it was out of my price range. So Bob Shaw is typing away while my daughter and I are talking. He turns from his keyboard and says, you are getting your Kia Soul. I was astounded. He showed me the figures and it worked out to the very cent I could afford!!!!!!! so, now I know comes the financing part. which I know will last another hour. again, I was wrong, the finance man came and introduced himself to me and said the papers would be ready for my signature in 20 minutes. sure enough 20 minutes I was signing my name. 10 minutes later, I am out the door in my Kia soul. I thought Bob Shaw was the finance guy, turns out, he is the used car manager. I have never been introduced to the manager at any car dealership, let alone speak with one. Chris and Bob went above and beyond my expectations. They were absolutely amazing to work with. I would buy a car from them again. In fact, my daughter will be looking in about 6 months and she will go to Crown. The absolute best experience I ever had purchasing a vehicle. No pressure. and who would have thought that a salesman would actually LISTEN to what you are saying. Thanks Crown!!!! More
