Bait and switch I found a used vehicle available at this dealership two nights ago that met the criteria for what I wanted. The dealership is an hour from my home so I found a used vehicle available at this dealership two nights ago that met the criteria for what I wanted. The dealership is an hour from my home so I wanted to confirm price prior to taking off from my office to drive all the way out there. Chelsea told me that they would be able to meet my price point on the vehicle and told me to speak with Yuri or Paul when I arrived the following morning. I asked her to confirm with them that everything was good to go with the vehicle and price so that there would be no hiccups the following day and she assured me everything was in line. The next day I had a great experience with the sales associate named Naz and was very pleased with his help through the test drive, but when it came time to talk money, their price point was ~5k more than what I had confirmed with Chelsea the night prior. Yuri (sales manager) came into the room and told me he could not go any lower, then Paul (the GM), told me that his employee did not have the authority to make that deal with me and that they could not go any lower. I guess Chelsea did her job though, all she needs to do is get customers in the door, whether she is lying to them or telling the truth. Bad business. They cost me over $1600 because I closed my office for the morning to drive all the way out there to buy a vehicle. They cost me hours of my day. They cost the price of gas to get out there (they offered a gas voucher but I never could find the gas station they wanted me to go to). They cost themselves the sale of a 50k vehicle. They cost themselves a potential customer in the future as well as the hundreds of people that I influence in my office each week as well. Truly disappointed because I was ready to buy that vehicle. More
