The let me order my Subaru after their promotion had expired. The kept in touch and answered my questions about delivery dates and it only too about 45 minutes to complete all the paper work and drive away. Guy Jordan was an excellent salesman to work with. John McHann was very helpful. Overall a great experience. Also when I asked about the promotion they actually sent me a written quote with the discount! No other dealer in my life has ever put anything in writing they didn't expect you to sign. No surprises when I went to pick up the the Outback.. Again, great overall job! More

This manager has been incredibly rude and bullying (almost threatening) to my family members and acted in such a way that, in my opinion, he should no longer be employed at this dealership. I highly recommend avoiding working with this individual. More
Wonderful! Emily Bracey and John McHann were the most helpful people by far during our search for the perfect family car! From the time we walked into the dealer Emily Bracey and John McHann were the most helpful people by far during our search for the perfect family car! From the time we walked into the dealership to the time we left, they were friendly, courteous, and accommodating. When our Dodge had a problem before our 2016 Subaru Outback had arrived, John and Emily were quick to assist us with a loaner and made every effort to ensure we felt like valued clients. After such a great experience, Cross Creek Subaru will be our first choice dealership! More

Timeline: 2/11: 1st contact with Cross Creek Subaru 2/19: Behind the wheel of my brand new 2015 Outback 3.6r Within 3 minutes of using the USAA's "Car Buying Service", Sanden Woodham from CCS called. We knew we wanted a 2015 Outback 3.6r for some time and had been in contact with close to a dozen dealers before we spoke with Cross Creek. Most gave us the run-around about the car we wanted: "These 3.6r Outbacks are hard to come by.......You'll have to order one and it will take 6-12 weeks......, etc." One dealer's salesman even stated that the 2.6i was a better car than the 3.6r and there was not much difference between the 4 and 6 cylinder engines.... even after we told him we weren't interested in a 4-cylinder in the least bit. We believe this was because they didn't have any on the lot and didn't want to lose a sale. Another dealer continuously told us he would follow-up the next day...TWICE....and each time it was 2-days later, explaining that the dealer-swap was almost completed. Sanden immediately found the vehicle we wanted, but it was in GA and had to negotiate a dealer-swap. When other dealer's were beating around the bush, Sanden had the vehicle secured and ready to be brought up to NC. Through this entire process, Sanden's follow-up has been second to none. When Sanden was off, his colleague Gary new every answer to every question we had. Not only did Sanden beat the best out-the-door price of any dealer we negotiated with, but he texted us photos of our vehicle (from his cell-phone) during the process of adding on accessories. He coordinated the delivery of the vehicle to our home in Charlotte and called the next day to follow-up. Incredible service....................the only downside is that they are not in Charlotte. Highly recommended and wouldn't hesitate giving them the first shot at our business if an additional Subaru might be added to our family. More

Our sales associate, Jeanette, was new to the dealership, but very eager to help me, in any way. She could answer most of my questions and quickly checked on anything she was unsure of. Overall, I had a great experience working with her. She greeted us in bitterly cold weather, stayed after hours to close the deal, and helped outside when I picked up the car the next day, despite the freezing cold rain! Emily (a veteran sakes associate) was there to aid her new co-worker, if needed. Jessica helped us finish up the paperwork. She is a true pro on the financial end. Clearly, she knows her job and does it well. It was easy, informative and fun working with her. I would like to say that that I also enjoyed my experience with the Sales Manager, John McHann, BUT that would be false. As an adult, married, college educated wife and stay-at-home Mom, I've negotiated new cars 3 other times in the past 20 years. I do my research well, never walking into a dealership without knowing what price my target vehicle rolls out of the factory with, what the advertised MRSP is, and what the national selling average is. In general, I have a good idea of what the vehicle is actually worth. My last negotiated purchase involved the dealership going into "hold-back" funds to get the price closer to what I was negotiating for. Mr. McHann clearly has an issue negotiating with anyone. He acted very "put-out" that I didn't take the first "great" offer he put on the table. As the negotiations continued, his face got all red and he jabbed his finger across the desk at me, stating "Let me explain to you how these numbers work!" It was demeaning that Mr. McHann made the assumption that I DIDN'T know how the numbers worked!! It was at this point that my DH, who had been quietly listening to this escalating conversation, got up and walked out of the office. He asked me to come with him. It took much wasted time for me to convince my DH that we should stay & finish the deal. The other employees had been GREAT, particularly Jeanette, and I loved the car. We did end up closing the deal, with very little credit to this Sales Manager. If I absolutely had to say something positive about him, it would be that he did work with us to get the paperwork signed after hours. But, his overbearing, condescending negotiation style almost blew the entire deal for Cross Creek Subaru. My advice: Go in, enjoy the great customer service from everyone else, and work with a different Sales Manager to close out your purchase. More
Great car buying experience I recently ordered and purchased a 2015 WRX. It arrived 4 days ahead of its ~2 month estimated arrival! I work primarily with Dave Mason, the general sales manager. This was my first time buying a new vehicle and he was extremely thorough and transparent throughout the process. The process was fairly involved too, given that my new vehicle had to be ordered and I was also trading in my old vehicle on delivery. Every question/concern I had was addressed promptly and with a cheerful attitude. The pricing on my new vehicle and my trade-in's value was extremely competitive. I will continue to work with Cross Creek Subaru, despite living an hour away in Raleigh, and you should too! More
Awful and unprofessional experience I recently visited Cross Creek Subaru and had an awful experience as their Sales Manager, John McHann, attempted to bully me and physically challenge I recently visited Cross Creek Subaru and had an awful experience as their Sales Manager, John McHann, attempted to bully me and physically challenge me. After a few weeks of deciding which vehicle I wanted to purchase, I had cash in hand and was ready to buy a vehicle from them if we could agree on pricing. I was led into the Sales Manager's, Mr. John McHann, office and began to discuss pricing with him. Immediately he was flustered by my offer and began to discuss with me why it was so unrealistic. I calmly engaged in discussion with him about pricing and even went as far to have him pull up usaa.com to compare prices that he said were unrealistic. Sure enough, my price was close to what usaa.com's car buying service offered (the prices set by the dealer themselves!). His fluster continued upon discovering this, and his voice began to raise towards me as if to attempt to bully me into accepting his pricing. I quickly realized this and kept my cool, as uncomfortable as it was. When I asked him to compare the features of the usaa.com vehicle pricing to the dealer invoice sheet he had presented to me, he quickly realized he was found out. He threw down his glasses on the table, pointed his hand in my face and almost yelling said to me, "Sir! This is not how we sell cars!" and jumped up, clearly enraged, and stormed out of his office. Shocked and feeling somewhat physically threatened at this point, I stood up and politely informed him that I will be taking my business elsewhere and reminded him that I'm spending my money here and simply wanted a good price. I thanked my floor salesman Mike, who seemed shock by the whole ordeal, and left the dealership. The sales service manager here is incredibly unprofessional, rude, and bullying. I strongly advise against interacting with this dealership. More
