Stefano was our sales representative, and he was a pleasure to do business with. He was professional, engaging, and humorous at times, and his Italian accent is priceless. He knows his cars and the options inside and out. I was offered a loaner car (2010 Acura ZDX) while my accessories were ordered and installed on the new MDX. I also traded in a 2005 Acura MDX, and was offered a very good value on trade. Criswell also quoted me the best price for the new MDX, beating out three dealers closer to my home. The day we purchased our Acura, I had already researched new and used on line, knew the invoice and incentives available and was ready to buy a car. My wife's Toyota Highlander was actually in the Criswell body shop and they had provided outstanding service. I asked the body shop what kind of dealers they managed and he stated Acura and Audi. I had been considering a used Acura TL so I thought I would see if the sales department was as good as the autobody experience we had. We decided to stop at Criswell and were interested in pre-owned Acuras or possibly a new one if the deal was right. Our salesman James helped us out right away. They gave us an outstanding deal on a brand new TL that I just couldn't pass up, and we couldn't be happier with our car. They made the entire process extremely easy and unstressful. My wife absolutely hates dealing with car salesmen, but this experience with James and Lamont at Criwell changed her perspective on buying cars. He was very responsive to email and phone call questions and frequently (but not too much) followed up to see if their was anything else he could provide but never pressured me for a decision. A level of service I just never got from the Lexus or Infiniti dealerships. The purchase was flawless, quick and easy. Normal overpriced packages offered in finance but no pressure or discomfort. During delivery, I was given ample attention by Mike in explaining all the features of the Tech Package, no rushing or feelings of "hurry up." The next day I received a follow-up email with an offer of assistance if I ever needed it and a phone call of thanks the next day. A terrific experience. More

Our overall experience in buying a used car was excellent. My husband and I went to Pohanka in Chantilly initially. They were not friendly and were jerking us around. I purchased my first Acura MDX in 2002 from Alan Hannon. He was so good and the car was so amazing, that I sent 2 of my close friends to him and they each purchased an Acura! Now, 154,000 miles and 8 years later, I wanted to trade in and purchase a TL. Chris Thomas in the service department recommended I see Alan. Aside from the Acura product itself, Chris was the main reason I have stayed loyal to this dealership and service department. He always went above and beyond to help me - in any situation. The customer service I have received from Chris is absolutely superior! I was delighted that Alan was still with Criswell after all these years - and again, he surpassed all expectations when helping me with my purchase. He remains extremely knowledgeable, honest and kind! I know that I can always call him and he is there to help. Because of my time constraints, he asked Mike Scandora to come in on his day off to help me with the purchase. Mike called me, arranged the time, and spent at least 2 hours going over all the features on my TL. It was the best "welcome" to a car I have ever had! Stefano had arranged to have the two models of the car we were interested in, the Acura TL SH AWD 6 spd manual, immediately available to us as well as already waiting for us to arrive. He began with a basic, yet in-depth overview of the car's features, then suggested that we take a test drive, the length of which was much longer than I had expected. It was an enjoyable experience, with the route that Stefano chose, illustrating the car's agility and handling. While letting the car speak for itself, during the drive, Stefano continued with his description of the car's features. Back at the dealership and seated in Stefano's office, Stefano worked with us in establishing the sale price which made the deliberations short and sweet. Once the sale was made, Stefano efficiently handled the paperwork involved as well as going over the minutia of the various manuals that came with the car. Before we drove away in our new car, Stefano helped program the settings for the driver's seat and side view mirrors that were necessary for comfort and safety.
