I want to tell my story about my outstanding customer service at Criswell Acura located in Annapolis, Maryland. I have been a customer of Criswell Acura for 16 years. I have been taking my 1992 Acura L service at Criswell Acura located in Annapolis, Maryland. I have been a customer of Criswell Acura for 16 years. I have been taking my 1992 Acura Legend LS to Criswell Acura from 1993-2009 (16 years) for either service or scheduled maintenance. I live in Washington, D.C. and I have driven to Annapolis Maryland since 1993. There are numerous other dealerships closer to me, but I travel (30 miles) to Criswell Acura for the best possible customer service that you can receive. I have had 16 years of wonderful, exceptional customer service. For about the past 8 years alone I have been working with Mr. Christopher Thomas in the Service Department. Mr. Christopher Thomas has always been very kind, professional, helpful and honest. He has always provided me with a loaner car when needed. He has always called me to inform me of the problems found with my car, along with quote. When it came time to pick up my car, the quote was always accurate. Never were there any extra charges or any unwanted surprise news concerning my car. I was always a very happy, satisfied customer. In the past 4-5 years I found myself spending a lot of money in my car, due to fact my car was old 17 years old (1992). After bringing my car in for repairs and service in early October 2009 and spending again over $700.00 for repairs and scheduled maintenance, it was found that due to the fact that my ABS brake light was still coming in and I found out that it would cost me over $3000.00 to repair my ABS Brake System. After talking with Mr. Christopher Thomas in detail about my car being 17 years old, it was time to move on to a new car. It was very painful for me to have to say good-bye to my 1992 Acura Legend LS. This has been a great car! My car was a “Legend in its own time”. Mr. Christopher Thomas even helped me sale my car to a good buyer right at Criswell’s. I know my car is in good hands. Mr. Christopher Thomas told me to call Mr. Alan Hannon, New Car Salesman at Criswell Acura. I did call Mr. Alan Hannon and I found him to be very kind, helpful new car salesman. After taking with Mr. Alan Hannon on the phone, we kept our communication by emailing each other. Mr. Alan Hannon sent me important and helpful email information about the new 2010 TL’s Acura’s. Mr. Alan Hannon also mailed me a 2010 TL brochure. We emailed each other for about of month, while I was deciding on which Acura I wanted to purchase. I drove down to Criswell Acura to meet with Mr. Alan Hannon concerning purchasing a new car. Mr. Alan Hannon was so very helpful with information about the car, options and accessories. After my first visit concerning purchasing a new 2010 TL, I still left very confused about buying the TL with the all-wheel-drive (AWD) or the TL with front-wheel-drive and the technology package. My confusion was that the 2010 TL AWD exterior and interior was not available by Acura in the colors that I wanted. The 2010 18 inch wheel with the Technology Package was available in the exterior and interior colors that I wanted, but at the same time I wanted the AWD. I also met the New Car Sales Manager, Mr. Lamont Randall, Jr. during my first visit to the New Car Sales Department. Mr. Lamont Randell, Jr. was also so very helpful with information about the cars. He also quoted me a very good price for both of the 2010 TL’s. I ended up leaving Criswell that day to go home and make a decision about the two cars. Two days later of still trying to make a decision about the cars, I called Mr. Lamont Randall, Jr. back and he helped me make the right decision of which car that would right for me based on my past car and my driving needs and driving history. After talking with Mr. Lamont Randall, Jr. he informed me that the very 2010 TL that I really wanted, he had already ordered one of the 2010 TL’s a few days earlier. This was on a Saturday and the car was delivered on the next Tuesday. I was so very excited the new car. When I called Mr. Lamont Randall, Jr., I was told that he would not be in for a few days. I talked back to Mr. Alan Hannon and told him that I would be down there on that Saturday of the same week (October 31th) to purchase the car and I wanted the Cilajet (is a top coat protection) applied to my new car. Mr. Alan Hannon told me that I needed to put down a cash deposit on the car before the Cilajet could be applied to the car and that the person at Criswell’s that applies the Cilajet could not apply the Cilajet until the following week. The Wednesday of the same week in which I had just spoke with Mr. Alan Hannon, I talked back to Mr. Lamont Randall, Jr. concerning another issue about the new car and he also told me that I had to come down on that Saturday to make the deposit on the car and for the Cilajet and then return the following Saturday to purchase and have my new car delivered to me. This was Criswell’s policy for everyone because if Cilajet was applied to the new car and then I did not buy the car this would be a big problem if someone wanted to buy the car but did not want to pay for the Cilajet. I truly understood the policy. I called Mr. Lamont Randall Jr., but on Thursday, October 29th to confirm with him that I would be coming down to Criswell’s on Saturday, October 31th to put the down payment on the car in order for the Cilajet to be applied and would return on November 7, 2009 to buy the car. Mr. Lamont Randall, Jr. gave me one the biggest surprises of my life, Mr. Lamont Randall Jr., told me that my car was ready to be picked up on October 31th. I just could not believe it. All I could say was “WOW”!! I was just in a state of shock! October 31th was the day I really wanted to buy my new car. He told me that he had seen was very dissatisfied customer leave another business very unhappy and he did not want to see me to have to leave unhappy on October 31th and had to return a whole week later to purchase the car and have my car delivered to me. I was so very happy. I had hard time sleeping that night because I was very excited about getting my new car the next morning. I did go to Criswell on Saturday, October 31th. It was a very rainy day and Mr. Lamont Randall Jr., had kept my car on the inside so it would not be wet when my car was delivered to me. Mr. Alan Hannon took me to see my new car and it was just beautiful. I again could only say “WOW!! Mr. Alan Hannon drove me back to Criswell’s in my new car, it was so very exciting. We returned to Mr. Alan Hannon’s desk to go over the final car details and I purchased my new 2010 TL 18 inch wheel – Technology package. Mr. Alan Hannon gave me two very nice Criswell key rings. Mr. Alan Hannon than took me to my new car and went over the operations of my new car and he went over the entire Technology package. The Technology package consists of numerous setting and Mr. Alan Hannon set them all for me. Mr. Alan Hannon even download all of my phone numbers on my cell phone to the blue-tooth phone my car. Mr. Alan Hannon had all of my ordered accessories ready for me when my car was delivered to me. I ordered my car mats on the day of delivery and I received the three days later. What a kind, wonderful Salesman Mr. Alan Hannon has been to me from August 2009 to October 31, 2009. Mr. Alan Hannon has called me three times since I purchased my car too see how I was making out with my new car. I have also called Mr. Alan Hannon twice while out on the road with questions concerning my new car and once again with his kindness and knowledge he was able to help me right away. Mr. Alan Hannon has invited me back to Criswell’s to go over the Technology package with me again, since it is so much to learn in once sitting with him. Mr. Alan Hannon and Mr. Lamont Randall, Jr. really took great care of me in purchasing my new car. What outstanding customer service that I received from them! I had no problems, everything went very smooth and stress free. In summary any Acura car is the best car that you could ever own. Remember that I had one for 17 years, so I am speaking from experience. I bought my 2002 Acura MDX at another area dealership. While their salesman took excellent care of me, their location as too far to travel for service. I switched to Criswell Acura about 6 years ago and While their salesman took excellent care of me, their location as too far to travel for service. I switched to Criswell Acura about 6 years ago and have been a steady customer ever since. Service Consultant John Rokos has been my "pit boss" almost from the beginning. He is always available, and has provided excellent responsiveness and no-nonsense technical advice. Dealer prices are typically higher than you would find at an independent auto shop, but Criswell's work is always reliable and I cannot recall ever having a problem. More
Our RSX was involved in a collision with a deer. After contacting our insurance company we contacted Criswell Colision Center. Kevin was most helpful in getting the car in and out expediently and they we contacting our insurance company we contacted Criswell Colision Center. Kevin was most helpful in getting the car in and out expediently and they were most efficient in dealing with the insurance adjuster. Everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful and professional and their facility is beautiful- not an adjective which would ordinarily be used for a body shop! Bob McDonald and Lamont Randell was very patient with me and made sure that I got everything I wanted in my 2010 Acura TL at the price that recived. I have been to several different Acura dealerships and the Criswell dealership in Annapolis, MD is my favorite by far. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Alan was great !!! The Dealership was outstanding from the moment I stepped out of my car. Didn't tell him I already owned a TSX before we began to try and buy the TL.
