My wife and I have been customers of Continental Nissan since 2013. I have always been satisfied with the service. I’ve noticed that things started to change slowly since the switch to Walser. I will foc since 2013. I have always been satisfied with the service. I’ve noticed that things started to change slowly since the switch to Walser. I will focus on 2024. On January 10, I brought my car in for an oil change. Recommendations were made, but I declined them as money was tight. I thought I would save up knowing I need to get work done during my next visit. When I brought my car for the oil change on April 1st, none of the suggested repairs were brought up. The past three visits, which all occurred in the last two weeks, have left me feeling unsatisfied. There has been a decline in the level of service provided. I brought my car in for an oil change on June 12. My battery passed the multi-point inspection. Less than a week later my car would not start. I was able to get a jump and drive it to Countryside where it was determined that my battery was completely dead. $545 later and another multipoint inspection , I received a new battery. I also mentioned that my Sirius XM was not working properly since the last oil change. The stations were going in and out. I mentioned that I spent several hours with Sirius Xm troubleshooting and the conclusion was to bring it in to get repaired as it could have been an issue with the antenna or electrical. I was told at Countryside that maybe the new battery would fix the issue. It didn’t seem right but I went with it considering I was going to bring my car in for a recommended alignment on June 24th. If it didn’t fix itself, I would have it looked at then. The new battery did not help the issue. I brought the car in for the alignment and was told it would be another $200 to take a look at the Sirius problem as they were going to do another inspection. That would have been the 3rd inspection in 12 days. That is when I had enough. I will take my car elsewhere. The service, in my experience has gone down hill. I have noticed different employees and seemingly different managers in my last few visits which indicate turnover for whatever reason. Countryside Nissan used to be great and consistent all around. I feel that is no longer the case. It should also be noted that since the alignment, my steering wheel I shaking at highway speeds. It just lends credence to my decision to move forward and elsewhere. More
