I visited Corwin Toyota with the intention of simply replacing my battery and the promise of a 1-2 hour service time. However, it turned into an incredibly frustrating experience. The dealership instead estimated $1800 in unnecessary service, and after I denied these, didn't provide service to my car until 15 minutes before closing after having to call to remind them of my vehicle. If you want to avoid unnecessary expenses, long wait time, and a lack of transparency in car service, I recommend avoiding this service dealership. The only redeeming experience was the drop-off service—the employees were pleasant. More

I haven't had to do business with auto dealerships for sometime. To compare to dealerships of days past, it OK, thats for the 3 star rating. I was very disappointed in the service. My check engine light came on and I took the van in for service. I was charged for a diagnostic evaluation and a spark plug was replaced. A couple of weeks later the check engine light came back on. I took it back and was charged for another diagnostic evaluation and told that it was simply a gas cap issue. A few days later, the check engine light AGAIN came on and I once again returned to the dealership. I was apologized to for the misdiagnosis, and told it was a more serious and very expensive issue , replacement of my cat. converter, but due to the twice misdiagnosis, I would not be charged labor. This was not honored and I was charged 851.00 for the labor on the service. The quoted price was 2,400.00 but the bill came to 2610.07. Seems that I was lied to and once again charged for a diagnostic. I feel like I was treated dishonestly and will not return. More
