I went to Columbia Ford/Kia with a bit of an emergency as my mechanic had advised me to find another car soon as mine was compromised by body rot and soon would not be safe. I was looking for a low-mileage and reasonably priced used car but was having no luck. I met with Fran Drake on May 17 and found that my dilemma was real as inventory was limited and cost more than I expected. He suggested buying new within my budget but I was concerned about fitting in three growing grandkids into a too-small car. He steered me in the direction of a Kia Soul but I was dubious given its look and color , bright red. The car, however, met all my needs. When Fran told me a gray model was due to arrive on June 6, I said "yes". Thus began our journey began. he advised me right away when that date was extended and extended and extended again. I finally had a message that a random delivery had brought in a white one and I grabbed it. This little car is bigger than I thought. It drives bigger, it looks bigger and it gives me as much room as I need. I want to thank Fran and his persistence and product-knowledge for finding the right vehicle for me. More
