Poor Customer Services from Managment I traded in and picked up a van on Monday June 24th. The next morning I realized that the GPS fleet-tracking device had not been removed from my old I traded in and picked up a van on Monday June 24th. The next morning I realized that the GPS fleet-tracking device had not been removed from my old vehicle. I immediately contacted my sales person, Mike O’Neil, who was very helpful. We arranged for the GPS company to come out on Thursday at 4:00 pm to remove the device. Mike had explained to me that he was going to be out on Thursday but everything is all set. On Thursday morning, I called Colonial Ford to confirm the appointment and asked to speak with Dwight, who was my other contact, and the person told me on the phone that I did not need to speak with Dwight because they are all part of the same team. I again requested to speak with Dwight and again my request was denied. Therefore, I told the person on the phone that somebody would be there at 4:00 pm to remove the devise and he said he was aware and there will be no problem. When the man showed up to remove the devise he was told that the vehicle was out back and was given the keys. When he could not find the vehicle he then went to the lot around the corner to discover that the vehicle was already picked up for auction and was no longer there. I then reached out to Dell Roderick who took no responsibility for the mishap and went on to say this was my fault for leaving the devise in the vehicle. He never once apologized. I was absolutely shocked by Del’s response and asked him for his supervisor’s contact information. Dell told me that he was the general manager and that he did not have a supervisor. I have my doubts that Dell is the person in charge of the entire operation and does not have to answer to ANYBODY but if he is then I would recommend that people stay clear of Colonial Ford. My experience with the sales team was positive however the customer service from the “general manager” was the worst. More
