I was in for an inspection ad was turned away, I went to another inspection station and they were kind enough to tell me I had a tire that would not pass inspection. As I had the wheel protection I spoke wi another inspection station and they were kind enough to tell me I had a tire that would not pass inspection. As I had the wheel protection I spoke with Danielle who got me on the schedule. On further review, I decided I would replace them all for around $950.00 with the credit for the tire that was damaged by road debris. In any case, I waited for the vehicle and ended up waiting for 4 hours which Danielle warned me about. When I received the bill it was over $1350.00 which shocked me so I inquired about the additional cost, it was for every possible thing I could be charged for and a front-end alignment I wasn't expecting. I am not blaming Danielle, she did her job well, it was the communication regarding the additional cost that I wasn't expecting. To be very honest I haven't really had a great experience with your service center and it has nothing to do with the people I spoke to, it was the fact that I felt as a purchaser of the vehicle from Colonial Ford that I was being nickel and dimed by the dealership. I have purchased many Ford vehicles mostly from Franklin Ford. I used their service department faithfully because I felt I would be treated like a valued customer with a Franklin Ford truck or car and I always was. I'm sorry to say I do not have the same impression of Colonial Ford. I feel like I need to stay right on top of any service that is performed here to insure I am not getting service I didn't ask for and that communication from the service center to the people working with the customer leaves a great deal to be desired. I am not attempting to get anyone in trouble, I am just letting you know why I do not do my normal service with Colonial, I never feel like I am going to be treated as a valued customer, more like an opportunity for Colonial Ford to take advantage of me. I'm sorry for this report, I do not like complaining but I thought I would share this with you in hopes that the relationship I have with Colonial Ford would improve. I can tell you I would be hesitant to purchase my next Ford vehicle from Colonial because of my impression of the overall dealership. Sorry, Greg More
