I had a mostly good experience this time. It appears the correct repair was done, and it wasn't too expensive. The Uber rides back to my house and to the dealer were great and the attendant w It appears the correct repair was done, and it wasn't too expensive. The Uber rides back to my house and to the dealer were great and the attendant was helpful and friendly. My only issue was they called me at 3 (after I'd dropped the car off at 9 a.m.) and said they weren't sure if they could get the repair done that day. (It was a software update.) I don't have a second car so this wasn't going to work. (I was told I could get the car and bring it back again!) When I balked, the attendant spoke with the mechanic and they promised to get it done that day after all. They worked hard on the logistics to minimize my wait time and ensure I got the car. I appreciated that effort, but to me when you drop a car off at 9 a.m., the expectation is you'll get it back at the end of the day unless a part needs to be ordered or it turns out to be a complicated repair. So great job on the repair, appreciate the effort to get it done on time, but they shouldn't have run up against a deadline to begin with. More
