I took in my 2022 Kia Sorento back in April with a stalling issue. I was told if the check engine light wasn’t on (which it wasn’t) there wasn’t much that could be done for me. They still checked my c stalling issue. I was told if the check engine light wasn’t on (which it wasn’t) there wasn’t much that could be done for me. They still checked my car out and told me nothing was wrong. Fast forward to June and the issues continues. I call again and explain the issue is still happening, this time they ask for video proof (meanwhile all they had to do was actually drive the car) After waiting another week for an appointment the car finally goes in and the mechanic determines it is a bad transmission. At this point I am 47 miles OVER the factory warranty and have a trip schedule in just days. To say I was frustrated was an understatement. To make matters worse the service guy helping me - Gary - was extremely rude and flustered when he called to tell me this. He also offered no additional help or information about a loaner car. When I got to the dealership to speak to him and retrieve stuff out of my car he was still rude and flustered. I am an extremely patient person when it comes to service people and stood quietly until he could help, which he didn’t. Another service rep came to help and when we walked over to their desk Gary began shouting the information I was waiting on across the room. I would say maybe Gary was having a bad day when I stopped in, but the phone communication after my car was in the shop continued with me feeling like I was the burden for calling for updates. He also made me feel like once my car was done I had to immediately return my rental back. I was on vacation at this point and had expressed that to him several times before I left and before work was started on my car. The feeling of potentially having to pay for a rental car while on vacation was stressful. Overall a very different experience at Kia than other dealerships I have been with in the past. More

I called for a recall on my Forte, was told that the part needed to be ordered, and made the appointment for 2 weeks out. When I arrived, I was told there was another recall and that work would done as well. needed to be ordered, and made the appointment for 2 weeks out. When I picked up the car, I was informed that the original recall service had not been done because the part was a special order and needed to be ordered. What? Why wasn't it ordered when I first called and made the appointment? Why didn't they inform me of that before taking the car for service. Now I have to wait for the part to actually come in and make another service appointment. More
