The folks at City Volkwagen are nice guys but I did not find the trading in and buying process to be very transparent. I felt very pressured by the team and felt they were moving very quickly to close the find the trading in and buying process to be very transparent. I felt very pressured by the team and felt they were moving very quickly to close the deal. They also did not do a thorough job of disclosing the car's Carfax until after I initialed some paperwork about how much I was willing to pay monthly. I saw the Carfax after my credit was run and I had agreed to a monthly payment. I never knew what the final sale price of the car was until over an hour later when I was signing paperwork in the loan office. I even had to call back and ask questions about the price listed on the paperwork because it was listed as more than the list price on the bill of sale document. I found out that they added in an $800 used vehicle certification fee. I left the dealership with conflicted feelings, I was happy to get a new car, but worried that I was pressured to make a bad deal. This was the first time I've left a dealership with a new car not feeling excited. I got a very sleazy, predatory vibe from this dealership. More
