I needed a car in short order and was relatively specific in my needs. I was looking for a 2001-2004 BMW 330Xi with under 70,000mi. I found several cars matching this criteria, many much closer to where I li in my needs. I was looking for a 2001-2004 BMW 330Xi with under 70,000mi. I found several cars matching this criteria, many much closer to where I live (Brooklyn), but I decided to go with circle BMW not only because they were offering me the best deal on a car but because of customer care I received in the hands of Eric Krentzman. Carolyn Noce is the epitome of what all car buyers are looking for in a sales representative. Her warm, professional, non-pushy approach to help guide you with your particular needs was not only refreshing, but also very much appreciated. I'm happy to report that with Carolyn's wisdom and tenacity in helping me find a car that would fit my individual needs, I signed a 3 year lease tonight. The process was about as pleasant as anyone could ask for and I greatly appreciate Carolyn's kind, upbeat and confident efforts in this process. Quite possibly the best experience I have had buying/leasing a car. Because I work long hours far from home, I was able to do most of the negotiating and communication by email. When I did get in to see the car, everyone I was in contact with at Circle BMW was courteous, professional and attentive to my needs and wishes. In final negotiations, Deanna went above and beyond, and was willing to be available on her "off" days to "hand hold" my transaction and to personally see it through to completion. I would highly recommend Deanna Riley and Circle BMW. More
Can someone explain to me how you would empty the oil out of a vehicle for a simple oil change visit and forget to put new oil back into the vehicle? Circle BMW service department and manager can not. I received absolutely pathetic treatment from this service department. I dropped off my 2006 BMW X5 for an oil change the night before my appointment as requested by the service department. I picked my vehicle the next day at 3:00 pm and proceeded home to Lakewood. I left the dealership and proceeded to the Garden State Parkway south entrance when my oil light illuminated. Upon noticing this, my vehicle computer popped up a message that read "check engine oil immediately". I called the service department and spoke to John Knarvik and inquired as to what to do. John said he would check the service record and reported back to me that it showed 7.5 liters of oil were put into the vehicle and he was sure it would be fine. I proceeded down the parkway to the Route 528 exit and drove to my residence. Upon arriving I notice considerable engine noise and open the vehicle door to a diesel sounding vehicle. I turned the vehicle off immediately and called the service center. As I waited for the flat bed tow truck to return my vehicle back to the service center I check the dipstick to find it dry. I open the oil fill cap and witnessed smoke emitting from the engine. I was contacted the following day by the service center and was told a creative story such as "it's not a problem it was only 3.5 liters low", and "we can not extend your warranty even though we accept full responsibility for this unfortunate incident". I tried to work this out with the service department manager Dan Talbot who insisted that my vehicle would be fine but he could not back it up in writing. When I asked him if this unfortunate incident was to have happened to him how would handle the way I was being requested to accept this treatment in which he replied that he would not accept this. I then contacted BMW of America and spoke to Representative Doug Gavin. I explained the incident as cited above and produced the service records as he requested. I was told that they would investigate and take action as necessary. They reported back that a representative called Dan Talbot and spoke about the incident and stated that no negligence by the service department occurred. My vehicle warranty is 800 miles away from expiring and Circle BMW will not extend it for one year as I requested to guarantee I will not have a problem due to this extreme negligent workmanship. For the reasons I have explained above and the treatment that I received I would highly recommend all patrons to use extreme caution selecting this dealership for any product or service. More
