Service Department Delivers Excellent Service! I purchased my 2017 Explorer at another dealer when I lived in So Jersey, but this is my 2nd Explorer. I was used to a having my own mechanic as my f I purchased my 2017 Explorer at another dealer when I lived in So Jersey, but this is my 2nd Explorer. I was used to a having my own mechanic as my father was s 'shade tree mechanic', so I often steered clear of dealer service depts, believing the myth that they were rip offs making false claims of needed repairs outside of the warranty, etc. I had to bring my vehicle in for a minor recall detail, and even though there were several there for the same thing, I was in and out, I decided to test the waters again for a scheduled maintenance; they did it again - friendly, professional, timely. A few times, I was unfamiliar with one of the bells or whistles on my truck. Never had to wait - usually one of the service advisers would step out, show me how, and it was in and out - 5 minutes, no charge. I thought my brakes were going. Due to mileage and age, I conceded that it was probably time, so I was prepared to finally pay the piper. Nope. Service did a quick on the spot check, a minor adjustment, squeak gone, in and out with a tease to turn around don't drown, through flood puddles. Guilty. I'm sold out on Distchman as my go to 'mechanic'. Love you guys! More

Joe is fairly new and did not hesitate to lean on other more knowledgable sales members to answer my questions and/or provide me with different options. Since there were no trucks meeting my needs in inventory, or within several hundred miles we put together an order for a brand new truck. Joe gave me dates when I could expect the build to occur and kept me informed whenever any significant event was noted. I now have a new truck and very happy.
