I have two caveats. The first is the TPMS light was on when I first test drove the car, indicating tire pressure is low. when I picked up the car, the TPMS was still on. the used car rep took the car and had the tires checked. The light was still on. he said it’s probably one of the sensors is defective. I asked, “you're not going to fix it”? he said “you bought the car as is”. I never heard of selling a car with an error light on the dash. I had another service garage check the car and he said 3 out of the 4 sensors were bad. estimate to replace all 3 was $375.00. which means the car was never diagnosed for the TPMS light, or the error was ignored after diagnosing. The second caveat is the SXM radio does not work. The xm signal from Sirius turns on and the radio will work properly, until you turn the car off. upon restarting the car, the SXM radio stops receiving the signal and all you can receive is channel 000 and 001. I called and had them refresh the signal. the SXM radio started working again for an hour, until I shut the car off. restarting the car, NO SXM signal. Sirius technical support said many Subaru factory SXM ready radios, from different models and different years had problems with the built in SXM service within the radio. he mentioned there may be a Sirius software upgrade to correct the problem. I verified that by checking the Subaru forums for different models. there are many frustrated owners having the same problem as me. I contacted Ciocca Subaru, Flemington. I was told $199 to just diagnose the problem. if there was an update, it would cost extra for the update, but cannot guarantee it will work. There would be no refund if the update didn’t work. So now, I have a car without Satellite radio. although Olivia was wonderful to work with, I feel the DEALERSHIP dropped the ball with service on the vehicle.. They should have made everything right before selling it. frank marsello washington nj
