I had a problem that started out last year with my 2017 Chevy Trax that I had bought from another dealer that was rather far from where I currently live and work. After bringing it to 2 mechanics last year Chevy Trax that I had bought from another dealer that was rather far from where I currently live and work. After bringing it to 2 mechanics last year they both ran diagnostics and couldn't pinpoint what it was. So I put it off. The car would run - I just had to keep my foot on the gas for a up to like a minute or so and the it would "catch" and also the check engine light was on and it wouldn't accelerate sometimes and then suddenly it would and I got decreased gas mileage. It was a nuisance. Well finally my time for my car to be inspected was coming upon me (the end of this month) so now I had to worry about it. I brought it to the mechanic again in hopes that this time they could tell me what the problem was and it could be addressed so I could pass my inspection - and ofcourse hoping and praying it wouldn't be an arm and a leg. Well once again after running diagnostics again they told me they couldn't pinpoint it again and I'd have to go to a Chevy dealer. This alone just deeply depressed me. Because from many past experiences and experiences of people I know. Their experiences are not good. People tend to come out with more problems than they started with or things not properly put back together or hefty bills, etc. Everyone reading surely knows what I mean. Dealers tend to be shady and we are at their mercy. So... I decided before going to a dealer I would read yelp reviews to get an idea of a good honest dealer with good honest representatives/ associates. The Chevy dealers near me Trenton/Princeton/Hamilton areas all had bad reviews. So I checked the reviews for this dealer that I am writing this review in regards to. And the reviews to Ciocca Chevrolet Buick GMC of Flemington were rather good. So although kinda far I decided this was the place I was going. They graciously squeezed me in even after They told me they were booked to October 15th and the very next day!! After explaining my situation they took the time to look again and realized some cancellations so graciously and kindly squeezed me in! And that was just the beginning! But to make a long story short just getting there became a chaotic adventure for me. But once there even after arriving a bit late they didn't turn me away and I just came in venting going on and on about my miserable day which literally was like the day from xxxx and Brianna Shimko just listened and was very understanding and didn't make me feel like a nuisance and irritant. She was so kind and understanding - as was everyone I encountered. But the best part was after waiting not long at all Brianna came back and informed me that the car had been fixed and it was covered under some warranty that I'm still not convinced I have. I was literally brought to tears. In a nation full of greed and chaos and people taking advantage of other people... They could have told me anything. Could have charged me an arm and a leg and I would have been at their mercy. There would be nothing I could do. But it cost me NOTHING. It's great to know there are still good and honest establishments with good honest associates. This place in my book is literally the best! Thank you all so very much for an amazing experience after a horrible day. And especially thank you Brianna and to the mechanic / mechanics that worked on my car. I had a 1pm appointment for an oil change and rotation. Arrived at 1pm and departed over 2 hrs. later(Approx. 3:30pm). Initially the tech forgot to rotate tires and I reminded them after about an hour. I knew this because of video that was sent and he mentioned not taking tires off to inspect brakes. If I had known this would take so long I would've requested to drop off vehicle and gone to my office a couple miles away. I inquired about some diagnostic tests to be scheduled and they said the earliest would be the end of September a month out. This is not the service I expect. If I chose for recommended add-ons from my basic service they would be happy to accommodate that day. This was all around unacceptable. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Took truck to dealer for TPMS issue. Was told that the sensors needed to be replaced for $1100. I was able to reprogram the sensors myself with the proper tool.
