Customer Disservice. I highly recommend you do not take your vehicle here for service. I purchased a new '23 Highlander and was told the vehicle range would calibrate a I highly recommend you do not take your vehicle here for service. I purchased a new '23 Highlander and was told the vehicle range would calibrate after a few tank refills. The issue persisted at 1k miles they said it would take 5k to calibrate. Ultimately, they gaslit me repeatedly and attributed the problem to "aggressive driving behaviors", or topping off the tank, which was both inappropriate and not backed up by the data ie. normal gas milage. I brought it in at 5k, and they claimed it would calibrate after 10-15k. So, I opened a case with Toyota and it turns out Chuck Patterson just went ahead and closed the case without even reaching out to me! That's embarrassing. The other Service Department I took it to actually validated the a problem, demonstrated willingness to help me solve it. So, I will be taking the vehicle elsewhere from now on. If you want to be gaslit, lied to and discarded, take your vehicle to Chuck Patterson in Chico. I will gladly go out of my way to avoid any future service here. More
