Charlie's Toyota

Times have changed 3 years ago I would of gladly recommended Charlie's Toyota, however I can't say the same anymore. I had purchased my car from them almost 3 years ago and looked into upgrading to a new 2017. Every time I would approach the sales floor, the manager would be looking at his computer obviously too busy to say hello to me (yet I had bought several cars from them in the past) and I watched every single sales person walk past me without a simple hello. They know my family well so I figure I would at least get a simple "Hello". The only person who still treated me with respect and would talk to me was my sales person, Steve Harris. I will say their service team is excellent and everyone is very friendly and I have no complaints about the service department. I used to feel like I was a valued customer, but not anymore. When I would inquire about a new car anytime to the manager it would seem as if I was a bother and it wasn't worth their time or effort (most of the time not getting a response back via email or one that mainly said we don't want your car). They simply didn't even take the time to put the numbers together for me. After trying 3 to 4 times unsuccessfully, I finally gave up and decided to inquire on my day off at another dealership, which was MORE than happy to take the time to work all the numbers for me and had the patience needed as I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, and even located the car, got it within a day and had all the paperwork done that night. (They understood my very busy schedule) I wasn't even expecting to buy that night but they worked up a deal that was amazing and within my budget that I couldn't say no to. They were more than happy to earn my business. Again, the reflection on 1 star is on the attitude of the manager not my sales person. I suppose Charlie's is making enough that I don't matter as a customer and they don't need my money. More

On the day that we sat down to go over the numbers with salesman Kurt, and later with head salesman Scott, only after I threatened to leave the meetin On the day that we sat down to go over the numbers with salesman Kurt, and later with head salesman Scott, only after I threatened to leave the meeting when seeing the amount that Kurt put down in front of us—$3,900, we think/feel that we should have gotten more for our 2011 Hyundai Sonata than the $5,000, more like $6,500–7,000. Four days later, our Hyundai was listed to sell for $9,995 at Charlie's and no doubt did; hope the new owner of our old car did better in negotiating. We shall remember all of this in about 3 years time./ Graham More

Drove down while the dealership was closed and got a peak at it. Went back a few days later and thanks to Jaret Hopkins I ended up driving a new 2017 Tacoma home. They were fair, gave me a good trade in value on my 2008 Chevy Cobalt and left me feeling pretty good about doing business in the future. I plan on keeping my truck a while...but when the time comes to get something new I will go to Charlies first. Thanks so much! More

He certainly wanted my business and I greatly appreciated his composure in dealing with me, a customer who is trying to get a good deal! Travis was professional and helpful as well. He reviewed everything about my purchase and explained the various service plans available. Everyone was personable, courteous and friendly. More
