Best Car Buying Experience EVER! We checked out Charlie's after working with 2 dealerships closer to our home in the Portland area that provided the typical car buying experience that We checked out Charlie's after working with 2 dealerships closer to our home in the Portland area that provided the typical car buying experience that you dread. We contacted the Internet Salesperson at Charlie's and the rest was car buying bliss! We asked for the very best deal Charlie's could give us on a Jeep Grand Cherokee and we got it - first request, no haggling, no baiting and switching! The turnaround time from the Internet Salesperson was almost instant! We met with Joe Ronco, our salesperson, and Sean L, the Sales Manager, when we visited the dealership in person. Our car was prepped and ready to go. Joe and Sean were ready for us and could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. We test drove the car, filled out the paperwork, waited on approval from the bank and off we went. Easy! We were given a more than fair price right off the bat and that was the price we worked with. Never once did anyone try to change it or uncover any hidden fees. Our salesperson Joe was lovely. He welcomed us, sat us in a comfortable area and offered beverages/snacks. He had the car prepped so we could take it for a drive. He gave us an overview of the features of the car, including Sirius Radio, and synced my phone with the Bluetooth device. Zachary, our Finance Person, made the paperwork part of the process painless! He was prepared with the forms we needed to sign and fully explained everything we needed to know. Every single person we had contact with was on their 'A' game. Their mission was for us to get the car we wanted at a fair price and make the process as easy and positive as possible. Mission accomplished! We will be Charlie's customers for life! More

Recently, our family lifestyle has changed and a pickup truck would suit our needs much better. My wife and I have always liked the looks and style of a Honda Ridgeline. We've had friends who found them very comfortable and reliable. We searched online and found a few Ridgelines that met the options we were looking for such as leather, navigation and a tow package. Unfortunately, we were consistently disappointed in offers for our trade, far below what I considered to be a fair. Charlie's had a used Ridgeline available. Initially, we were hesitant because it had more miles on it than we wanted; however, I did find it to be very well maintained. I did my research regarding my trade and the purchase. What sealed this deal was a conversation with Rick where he stated "I'm a man of my word". We received a very fair trade for our vehicle and we purchased our Honda Ridgeline at a good price. I consider myself not to be an easy customer and I appreciate Rick and his team working with me. Rick should know that his statement has meant something more to me. I do not enjoy the car buying experience - never have - but this particular time it was different. Fair price I was looking at used cars on the lot when approached by a saleman. I asked if they had anything older (wasn't interested in 2013/2014 models that wer I was looking at used cars on the lot when approached by a saleman. I asked if they had anything older (wasn't interested in 2013/2014 models that were there). He mentioned they just had an older model / higher mileage traded in and they weren't sure where within the dealership it would end up after general repairs and clean up). I stated I was interested and they let me check it out, followed up with me the next day regarding when it would be ready. Later they called gave a description of the work that was done to it (they even put brand new all season tires on it) and gave a very fair price offer and accurate total cost including fees and taxes (according to estimates I found online regarding this car in good condition). After my mechanic checked it out and cleared it, I bought it. They cleaned everything, even under the hood from the looks of it. It looks like a brand new car and runs like one too. Very happy. Will definitely be getting free car washes when I'm in the area too. More
