Chapman had our(Chrysler Owned) van for 23 days.When I was called to pick-up the van that it was ready,there were 2 engine lights on. This was the reason I brought it in to the dealer for repairs. Then the bill was $3,300 so much for discounting parts for Chrysler. This is NOT the first time we have had issues. Sadly there are only two dealers in town. More
Denise was the liaison between me and the service people. She took the report. I was there from 8:30 til 1:30 (had a 9am appointment)and she left me without further communication until noon, when I had to go She took the report. An hour and one half passed and I went back and she told me that the car needed over $1000 in repairs. I said I didn't want the repairs done then, and took the car home. This was my third visit to Chapman. THe last two times, Mike Reynos took care of everything, letting me know what was going on and how long it would take. It was because of his high level of service that we go to Chapman. However, this last visit was frustrating. I had my 9am appointment and others came in after me but I was still waiting after everyone else had been taken care of. More
It took 2 days to get to and service my car not unreasonable but when my car was ready it was dirtier than when I brought it in. So before I could go anywhere with my car I had to go get it wash wh unreasonable but when my car was ready it was dirtier than when I brought it in. I hate how long it takes to have service performed even with an appointment. I was there for over 2 hours. I sat in my car for a little bit before I was helped. Then I waited over 2 hours for the servic with an appointment. I was there for over 2 hours. I sat in my car for a little bit before I was helped. Then I waited over 2 hours for the service. And lastly, I waited outside for over 10 minutes for my car after I was advised it was ready. The rep was nice though and told me it would be two hours, but that was after I was obviously there and I would have planned my day differently if when I made the appointment I was told it was going to be over 2 hours. The new "pay your service advisor" system is inconvenient. It's not always easy to find the service advisor. I brought my jeep in for a 90,000 mile service and afterwards had problems with inconvenient. It's not always easy to find the service advisor. I brought my jeep in for a 90,000 mile service and afterwards had problems with my car shaking at high speeds. The issue was my tires being too worn, but to get to that answer and get the problem fixed, I had to wait two hours on a Monday morning, just to be told I needed new tires. Then I had to come back again on a Thursday to get my new tires. The "best" part was getting a snippy call from an overworked lady at the dealership on Monday morning. AFTER spending 2 hours at the dealership, to be told I needed new tires, I get a condescending phone call from a woman saying that I missed my scheduled appointment that day!!!! When I called back to tell her I didn't miss my appointment, all she said was "oh". My service advisor is nice and the service area is much nicer looking than it used to be (it used to be creepy), but the service and coordination still need to improve quite a bit. More
I had my car towed in on a Monday afternoon. It was not looked at until Wednesday or Thursday. They could not find anything wrong with the car, which is fine. I was very pleased with the work done. Obviously just about everyone believes they are overcharged on repair work, and paying more in labor than the part doesn't help either.
