Hyundai Chapman: All Around Great Dealership Jack Nagel sold me my 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe. He was honest, fair and extremely patient ! This is just reflective of my overall experience at Hy Jack Nagel sold me my 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe. He was honest, fair and extremely patient ! This is just reflective of my overall experience at Hyundai Chapman for the past 5 years. Justin Lenocker took care of my 2007 Tiberon for 4 years and is now taking care of my new Genesis Coupe! I wouldn't want anyone else to take care of my car. He's the best. I always get what I need, quickly and the service is always friendly. Robert Steffes (J.R.) and Ron Hodge are also amazing to work with. J.R. sat with me for some time explaining the various features and connecting my phone to my Genesis. Jack Nagel spent a lot of time setting up my navigation system and making sure I had all the access I needed. These guys at this dealership are always there for me when I need anything regarding my car. One of the reasons I decided to buy another Hyundai was because I knew they would take of everything I need. They are the best and I wouldn't go anywhere else !!! More

I would have bought one, but th On July FOURTH, I went to a well-known local car dealer and test drove TWO cars, one I liked and one I liked a LOT. I would have bought one, but they started pressuring me on a financing "deal", which just didn't conform to my desires. When I stated that I would provide my own financing, they effectively bumped up my price by $1000. I ended up just walking out on them. Kind of like a Seinfeld episode. Since I had to work the next day (Sat.), I didn't think that I would have a chance to do any car shopping. I did a few "wishful thinking" searches of cars.com. I found two Hyundais that looked interesting and called Chapman Hyundai on Bell to see how late they would be open. After work (about 5:20 pm), I visited the Chapman Hyundai Mazda dealership. I actually looked at FOUR cars. Three of the cars were very nice, but not exciting. Then I looked at the 2011 Elantra, which was quite a gem. I took it for a substantial test drive and it was FUN. It won my heart. I told my salesman about my earlier bad experiences at the prior dealer and they took many steps to put me at ease. The car I liked had only been added to their inventory a couple days earlier. It was less expensive and more fully featured than the cars I walked away from the day before. The price was within my budget and the financing terms were within my comfort zone. I drove the Elantra home that evening and have enjoyed it every day since then. Thanks, Chapman!! More

You've gotta be kidding me! I have a 2010 Hyundai Sonata with only 40,000 miles that has received regular maintenance and has no indications of having problems. Every single tim I have a 2010 Hyundai Sonata with only 40,000 miles that has received regular maintenance and has no indications of having problems. Every single time I take it in for a regular oil change, the Chapman service center wants to do $600-$2,000+ worth of work on it. I purchased a newer car to avoid spending large sums on repairs. Either this dealer is unethical and unscrupulous or a Hyundai is a piece of junk if I can't go 3,000 miles without needing $600+ worth of work. I'll NEVER buy another Hyundai!!! More

They always complete my oil change in a timely manner along with giving my car a "bath" and leaving me with a nice little gift box of candy in my drink holder. They go above and beyond to make sure I feel like an important and valued customer. Although the Sales department is horrible, I will always take my vehicles to the service department for repairs and upkeep. More

Bad service After speaking with the Service director Matt Trader, I now understand why they have such poor customer service. I have spent over 30K in the past ten years with Chapman and must say I have never been treated so poorly in my life. I brought my Hyundai Santa Fe in for an oil change and asked them to check out a headlight that was not working. I explained that I bought an 8 dollar light bulb, replaced it, and the light still was not working. The service guy tries to tell me that I replace the wrong light bulb and charged me 60 bucks! Ok Maybe I am an idiot and don’t know a burnt light bulb when I see one (don’t think so but I like to pick my battles), but 60 bucks? Jason then told me that I needed front and back brakes. I asked him which was worse front or back. He replied back and I authorized him to replace them. While driving home I noticed a horrible vibration when applying my breaks, so I brought them back. Jason first told me it was because they rotated my tires. (I don’t think so) Then he tries to tell me that it was because my front breaks needed replacing. Please keep in mind that I had no vibration when I went in to Chapman, so why after replacing the back breaks do I have a vibration? Out of the “goodness of their heart FREE of Charge” they turned the rotors on my front breaks and the vibration went away. Lol Well I drove from Chapman to Just brakes and they confirmed my suspicions. When turning the back rotors, they did not test drive the car and gave it back to me. Rather than admitting to me what really happened, they try to make me think that it was my Front brakes causing the vibration. When I called the Sales director, to tell him what happened, he was quite arrogant and was worse then his customer service rep. Good service starts with good leadership, and the service director was quite a piece of work. Lesson well learned! NEVER will give Chapman a dime of my money again. More

I have been a customer of Chapman Hyundai Phoenix since June of '09. Jamie is my service consultant and I couldn't ask for better service. She is so very nice and knowledgeable to boot.
