I’d like to start by saying that my service advisor, Jamie has been amazing and none of this is her fault. I bought my car here 2 years ago and was very happy with my purchase. I took it in and they got it fixed. All is good. A few months later, it comes back on. This was earlier this year. I take it back and they say nothing is wrong with it so I go on with my life. I live 45 minutes away in Mesa, so coming out here is a pain and the Scottsdale dealership never has availability that works for me, so I continue to come here. For the third time in a row, my engine light is back on. This time I’m extremely mad because when I brought it in, the tech said NOTHING was wrong with my car, then he TURNED THE LIGHT OFF. I am so xxxx sick of the techs, they are lousy workers. The whole point of me coming in for a simple Purge valve issue (which FINALLY got fixed on the 4th visit because I had to express my frustration with Jaime), is that my car is still under warranty! This piece of crap car has given me expensive issues (besides the purge flow valve) and it doesn’t even have 50k on it yet! So of course I continue to bring it in because it’s under warranty! But the techs here are God awful. I’m positive they’re not even doing their xxxx job and inspecting the vehicles because if they did, I wouldn’t have had to come out here 4 times over a xxxx light. NOW my alarm system just stopped working, right after they fixed my horn because the clock spring was loose in my steering wheel. So now I’m taking my car to Scottsdale because I’m tired of having to come back over and over again. Techs, please do better because not all 20 year old college girls are as stupid as you think they are. More

This is what lead me to have the worst experience I ever have had with any business and being the very first experience where a company literally stole money from me. I was lead to believe that the car I wanted was to arrive in 2 weeks and the only way to claim it was to put a non refundable deposit of 1k down. I had a vin number and a time frame of arrival so being a serious buyer with enough cash to purchase straight out I went ahead with it. 2 weeks came and went along with my salesman who either was fired or quit. With no contact since my deposit I went into the dealership. I was given a new salesman Brian and told again a couple weeks away. 2 weeks later...I reached out to only be given the opportunity to leave a message with someone. Sometime later I received a text from him stating it would be another 2 weeks. Again I waited. This is where their deception started coming through. I was able to finally reach him after calling a few times with no response only to be told they would contact the people in charge of shipping the cars and tell them to put a rush on getting it here. 2 more weeks later and nothing. About 2 months of waiting on a car I was promised was 2 weeks out I finally was told the car was never shipped and still hadn't been. This was a work car purchase and I never entered this purchase willing to wait indefinitely for a car to arrive. I took their word and they took my money. Being operated under the Hyundai name I expected a certain level of professionalism. Guess the jokes on me because they dont know the meaning of that word. I spoke to George the sales manager, to Kevin who is also some sort of manager both promising to look into it and call me back but also at the same time telling me I would not be getting my money back as it was non refundable. They never called...I understand what non refundable is but in no way should it still apply if there is no communication and no product delivered. Infact not one person called me since they took my money. Not one single time. Now who in their right mind would want to give a business that operated like this any more money than what they were already showing interest in stealing?? The only option I was given when I could actually get them on the phone is I could use it towards another purchase with them. NO THANK YOU! So I know many people speak of how dealerships are greedy and line their pockets with mark ups but never in my right mind did I think I would have to worry about them only being interested in the deposit. They had no intention of selling me a car...I went to my bank and they couldnt get past the deposit contract. I called Hyundai corporate and they are saying the same thing. That they are a third party with a binding contract on the deposit. They have sold the car I put my money down on to someone else...again not even a call to inform me of such. I am just astonished that this is possible. Taking someones hard earned money and not offering anything in return but lies. DO NOT GIVE THESE RATS YOUR MONEY...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! More
I had a very bad experience with Chapman Hyundai Phoenix sales team. They will send you quotes for the cars that doesn't even exist in their dealership. When you are ready to buy, they will just tell you th sales team. They will send you quotes for the cars that doesn't even exist in their dealership. When you are ready to buy, they will just tell you that it has been sold and they will try very hard to get you in their dealership. I usually negotiate the price over email and just go in to sign the paperwork and get the car delivery, in order to avoid the stress you feel from hours long haggling process. More
We've been looking for a SantFe for quite some time. While we recognize there is chaos within the industry right now we found most staff being either apathetic or condensending towards the customer. It was beyond frustrating in a recognizably bad market for consumers. We were incredibly fortunate to find Chapman and Mike. They couldn't have been more helpful which was absolutely amazing. We did the entire transaction via phone and email and was unbelievably easy. We are flying in from Denver to pick up the car and drive it back home and wouldn't hesitate to do it all over again. More

It was great to order/receive a new car just like we wanted. We got the exterior and interior that we wanted. We did not have to settle for a certain exterior to get the right interior or vise-versa tha wanted. We got the exterior and interior that we wanted. I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate Mike and his team. They truly went above and beyond to turn a really frustrating situation into a positive outcome. My husband and I were rear ended while in California on a cross country road trip. Not only was our car totaled, but we faced many obstacles to get a replacement so we could drive home. Due to certain California laws, buying a car as someone out of state was a huge hassle. So we spent days calling dealerships in Las Vegas and Phoenix trying to find anyone who might have a car we wanted so we could fly out, pick it up and bring it back to SoCal. Each dealership we called said they could help us, but it would include this or we would have to do that. I felt as though I was being taken advantage of because of my situation. It was 100% car saleman-ish that left me frustrated. When I called Chapman and spoke with Mike, my worries melted away. Mike spoke to me like a human who understood how difficult of a spot we were in. He was able to find the car I wanted and get me an out the door price and arrival date during out first conversation. I had been told at other dealerships that if I put a deposit down, I would have to pick the car up within a day or else I would lose the car and my deposit. This worried me since we were trying to fly out to get the car and no date of delivery was guaranteed. Mike told me not to worry. The car would be here waiting for me (thank goodness because it arrived 3 day early!). Communication with Mike was amazing. He answered all my questions over those 2 weeks in a timely manner. He helped us work out financing while we waited for the insurance checks to come in. I flew to Phoenix knowing that everything was set. It was such a relief! When we arrived, Mike and Allie greeted us. Allie helped us get all set in the car and handled our paperwork. Steve in finance helped us figure out the best options for a temporary loan, which helped save us money. The entire process took about 2 hours in and out the door. It was amazing! I cannot thank Mike, Allie and Steve enough for making this miserable situation a little better. It was painless. I never once felt like I was being sold on something. I went in and left feeling treated like a person that they wanted to genuinely help. I cannot recommend them enough! If you want to be treated like a real person and not a sale, go visit them! More
I have had the best buying experience of any car I have ever bought (and I have purchased a lot of cars). They were pleasant outgoing and always great to deal with. I was very indecisive about which model Santa Fe I wanted and kept going back and forth between the sel premium and the limited. I finally settled on the red 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe limited. But they never got frustrated with me. I also went back and forth about the ceramic coating that my previous car had and clear bra and they checked into that for me and ultimately I did end up doing both. Also to get the exact Santa Fe I wanted it would require a dealer trade from Tucson. The manger I was working with Michael Cialdella went above in beyond to make sure I was happy and that I had a great buying experience. I also ended up making a new friend out of the entire thing because he is just an all around really nice guy. My sales person was Kira Nelson and she was also amazing. She made sure I was taken care of and answered any questions I had and if she didn't know or if it was something she couldn't answer she immediately got Michael involved. This is the best dealership I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with and I highly highly recommend Chapman Hyundai on 9th Ave and bell road. If I could rate them higher than 5 stars I would have. If u need a new car go to Chapman Hyundai and ask for Kira or manager Michael they will get you taken care of. Way to go Chapman and thank you for making my experience so pleasurable. More
