Early in and out. I had an appointment for Tuesday the 16th. I came in Monday, to see if they could get me in earlier, Jim Melnick explained that he couldn't get me in, I had an appointment for Tuesday the 16th. I came in Monday, to see if they could get me in earlier, Jim Melnick explained that he couldn't get me in, but he will makes sure I get in right away in the morning., He did just that, I was in well before 8:00. I found Jim to be very friendly, and committed to being helpful. Every thing went well and I was happy to get out quickly If I have a complaint, it was the price, $ 210.00 for a key, and programing.The day after, I received two text messages, asking if I was satisfied, and a call from an Allentown exchange, and I girl asked me about my .account, and when I asked her a couple of questions, she got frustrated because she couldn't answer them, and just hung up on me. Service to my VW Jetta I was basically happy with the service but was told first that the cost would be less than $25, then got a phone call and was told there would be a $1 I was basically happy with the service but was told first that the cost would be less than $25, then got a phone call and was told there would be a $129.99 diagnostic fee, then was told another price. It was a bit confusing. I was also told I need an inspection but they couldn't do it. Getting the Lyft to the train station was a nice perk. More

Very unhappy with the VW Service Advisor/ Behavior Received a text message from - VW Gary Fields at Chapman Ford VW 4/15/19 (8:02am), reaching out to see how his team treated me, here was my response t Received a text message from - VW Gary Fields at Chapman Ford VW 4/15/19 (8:02am), reaching out to see how his team treated me, here was my response to him via text message: Unfortunately, I was greeted by James Melnick/VW Service Advisor he thought I was a man because I had a black cap on my head with long black hair. However, when he looked at my face he said, "What brings you in today?" My response to him, you thought I was a man, his response you had a cap on. Unacceptable, he chose not to correct himself. I brought it to his attention again to check my car in and to sign the paperwork he refused to correct himself, because I brought it up again. Finally, when my car was serviced, he asked me how was his service will I give him a 5 point on the survey? I said after you call me a man. He said can I bribe you for the 5 points? I said no, that not right. He gave me his business card and wrote "Free oil change next visit " he sign his name. I told him I will hold him to his word. The point is he should have immediately corrected himself. That's all was needed. Thank you for reaching out. Then I received a telephone call at 11:14am and James Melnick left a message apologizing, Then I reached back out to him to listen, I accepted his apologies, however, it should have been immediately corrected. More

Chapman goes the extra mile! Unfortunately our family car had to have its transmission replaced. Worse than the expense of this, we were to go out of town. Parts were ordered ASAP Unfortunately our family car had to have its transmission replaced. Worse than the expense of this, we were to go out of town.
