Jeff as well as the cashier was very pleasant! The lobby area was so accomodating. The hour flew by and I felt relaxed afterwards. From the time that I pulled into the service drive and was immediately greeted by the service advisor, until I picked up my vehicle, I felt good about taking my truck to Chapman. Customer Service is alive and well at Chapman dealerships!!!! This is a follow up of a not so favorable review. First of all there are plenty of dealers and people that are very nice and frie dealerships!!!! This is a follow up of a not so favorable review. First of all there are plenty of dealers and people that are very nice and friendly yet lack consistency and follow up. but when a service Rep (John Borchard) actually apologizes for taking his customer for granted and not recognizing the value of his/her time and then thanks you for helping them (That's right thanks you for a review that was not very favorable)so they can see their short comings, well that just blows me away!!!!! Because that's what happened today....really When I first rated my service poorly it only took less than 24 hours before someone from their organization called with concerns that they failed to reach my customer service expectations, and the best part is they read the whole 1200+ word review with accuracy, because you see I inserted a trick phrase near the bottom of the review to see if they really read the whole statement....well he did he knew what color M&M's I did not like. Today they corrected my speedometer.....For free!!!!!!! and the best part they remembered the other small issue of slight rubbing on my wheel well and corrected that too! and it looks so professional you couldn't tell it had been modified, I never brought the issue up that it rubbed.....they knew and corrected it. The truck also looked like it was detailed...It was immaculate. If anyone read down this far it means only 2 things 1. Your very thorough 2. Patty was very honest to begin with. I was already familar with the problem, I have with the 2010 truck, as I still have the same problem with my 2003 Impala, which GM has not fixed. What ever Patty doesn't know first hand, she knows who to ask or where to find the answer. Larry was very helpful and knowledgeable. Gave me as much info that he was able to get from GM. I was greeted by Jeff as soon as I got there. Jeff took care of me, making sure I got the warranty service done on my car as quickly as possible and I was as comfortable as possible while I waited. I went in for warranty work on our 2007 HHR, (the remote door lock and starter was not working proper;y). While in the service lane I explained about an issue we had been having with the left rear tire loos door lock and starter was not working proper;y). While in the service lane I explained about an issue we had been having with the left rear tire loosing air. Douglas seemed to be frustrated about this, "in all his experince he had never seen a bad rim, etc. Besides with the age of the car that would no longer be under warranty". I didn't ask for it to be under warranty, just find out what the problem is. After much back and forth I said to forget, replace the remote and I will let my husband deal with it. Well that is exactly what I did, went home, my husband removed the tire, did a soapy water test, found the broken nail and I went to Discount Tire today and they joyfully repaired it at no charge. Everything was great for the most part. I had my oil changed but I also had the service department look into a squeak I am having INSIDE my truck. They worked for 3 hours on the source of this squeak which was apparently underneath somewhere. When they are done, I get in my truck and drive away and guess what? The squeak is still there. Although they assured me we were on the same page as to what squeak we were both hearing, I'm not sure we ever were. More
