Extremely pleased with our Service Advisor - Jeff Talbot - my wife and I are both senior citizens and are grateful for his sincere manner and the way our service needs and the work on our car is done. Our experience was exceptiona. We had found a issue when after the paperwork was filed that the 3rd row seating was missing and we thought it was just collapsed down. Patty as always very helpful but she went on vacation and it went down hill after that. The person that covered for her was not very informed with my warranty coverage and my engine light is still on. I will it went down hill after that. I was not offered a rental car. The truck was there for five days. I think more contact with customer would of helped this situation. The issue with my vehicle was related to an aftermarket stereo which caused the vehicle to go into limp mode. This was a unique issue that Chapman was able to identify with ease. I had a LOF and on the paperwork it was indicated that I needed new front brake pads. When I got home I checked my records and I had new front brake pads installed only about 10,500 miles previously and I f needed new front brake pads. When I got home I checked my records and I had new front brake pads installed only about 10,500 miles previously and I find it hard to believe that they would wear out in that length of time. I called Dave Hermann the following day and asked him about it. He stated that he would talk to the mechanic and get back to me with an answer. I have never heard a word. This to me is not what the word "servoce" is all about. You will note that I graded everything OK. I did that so that this would go through. When turning left or right the steering system on my Saturn Vue would make a noise (louder than normal humming/buzzing). First Visit: Chapman found a leaking steering boot and ordered the part. Second Visit: The part arrived and I was told this would be an all day repair so I got a rental from enterprise (part of Saturn warranty). The part was replaced same day. I returned the rental, picked up my vehicle on Friday around 5:45pm. While driving and reaching 30mph there seemed to be a "transmission shifting problem. Driving at 45mph then speeding up to 50mph the noise was louder (almost a no muffer type loud noise) PLUS the vehicle would vibrate badly. The paperwork states someone test drove the vehicle, Did they really?? I called Chapman but the service department had already closed. I left a message. I did not get a return call due to the weekend so I just came in a Monday morning at 7am. The service tech could not pin point the problem so I had to leave my car again - No loaner was offered. Around mid-day the car was fixed. The service tech had to un-assemble the work done previously and re-assembled it to correct the noise problem (??). This greatly reduced the noise and vibration BUT the vehicle is not the same. What use to be a quite smooth auto-shifting vehicle is now noiser. I'm very disappointed in the fact that I brought in the vehicle for a steering noise problem and Chapman Service gave me back a vehicle with a different problem. Even after the second visit, the vehicle is still does not seem correct. I'm researching my options on how to get my vehicle back in order. The reason for this low rating is the Service Tech(s) and who ever test drove my car. Service Advisor, Cashiers, and waiting area are all great. More
Friendly, nice and fast! :) Nobody was pushy and the recommendations I got for future service to my vehicle was appreciated. The waiting room was a little hot and there was nowhere except the floor to recommendations I got for future service to my vehicle was appreciated. All in all it was great and I will be back. More
