First, you need to know that my wife and I own 2 Saturn’s. My family (me, my wife and kids) have owned a total of 9 Saturn’s. We chose Saturn because of the way they treated their customers like family and always fair and professional. Needless to say, we were devastated when Saturn closed down. My first thought was where would we go for maintenance service? We were used to, and I guess somewhat spoiled, by the personal service we received from our local Saturn dealership in Tempe. When I called Saturn about a problem I was having with my Saturn VUE they immediately recommended Chapman Chevrolet. Hesitant about going outside my comfort zone dealing with someone other than a Saturn dealership, I called Chapman and spoke to Len Bishop, Service Consultant about my problem. While on the phone he researched my problem and we set up an appointment. Len met me when I arrived and keep me informed about the status of repairing the problem throughout the process. I was extremely pleased and satisfied with the service I received from Chapman Chevrolet and especially Len Bishop. I believe if someone does a good job and goes above and beyond helping a customer then they should be recognized for a “job well done”. Because of the service I received from Len Bishop I will definitely come back to Chapman Chevrolet to service our vehicles and would highly recommend Chapman to others. More

Our experience with Chapman Chevrolet in Tempe, AZ, has been a nightmare. In our opinion, Because of their dishonesty and manipulation, it cost us an additional .50% on our interest rate. In essence, Chapman forced us to buy the truck from them as they were the only dealership which had the 6.2 Silverado 1500 in stock. When we began looking for a truck, we visited Chapman to see if the truck we were interested in was available. We told them that we needed to sell our truck in order to be able to purchase a new one and that hadn't happened as yet. They kept trying to make a deal even though we explained our situation to them. When the truck didn't sell, we informed them of that fact and said that we could not be able to move forward and to release the truck. A few days later, someone did buy our truck and we went through the buying service at our credit union because of better pricing and lower interest rate, and Brown and Brown was going to supply the truck. When B and B contacted Chapman to arrange a dealer swap, the sales manager (Mr. Mays) at Chapman asked who the customer was and was told our names. (Which is not a usual practice, per Chapman's general manager, Tim Mort). They then refused to release the truck to Brown and Brown, telling them that they had a deal with us, which they did NOT, therefore coercing us into buying from them if we wanted that truck. AFter speaking with the general manager, Mr. Mort, and meeting personally with him to express our displeasure with what had happened, we were assured that they would work with us completely to make a deal we would be happy with. We worked with Mr. Russo regarding the pricing and insisted that they meet Brown and Brown's price and match the trade in amount for our Honda. We also insisted that they include at no cost the bucket seats which were in the truck they had in inventory. Our salesman, Mr. Russo, was as accommodating as the powers that be would allow him to be. In an effort to smooth the waters, Mr. Russo included us in the VIP service group and Mr. Mort, the general manager, said our first service would be free. Then, we find out that they deliberately processed the title incorrectly showing that there was no lein holder when there was and they knew who the financer was. We purchased the truck in October and it has taken until today (January 7, 2011) and many phone calls and a personal visit from the Vice President of the Credit Union to get them to change and correct the title for the MVD! Otherwise it would have been a fraudulent title. We have found the Chapman personnel we dealt with (with the exception of Mr. Russo) to be vindictive and unprofessional and will continue to try to influence our friends and family to deal with other car dealerships and not Chapman!! Buyer, BEWARE!! More
Everybody seemed friendly and willing to assist. Shuttle left promptly at 9:30 and driver was very friendly. My only issue was that the shuttle did not arrive to pick me up when I had requested and there was no communication from you guys on when they would arrive. I called at 1:30 and told them I'd like to be picked up at 3. 3pm came by and I didn't receive a phone call so I called back and was told he would leave shortly. Not a very big deal but better communication would be appreciated. More
I spent over $1,100 in June for transmission that turned out to be half xxx done and dealership rep was like "oh well" I was told in June when the estimate wnet from $500 to over $1,100 that if I spent the out to be half xxx done and dealership rep was like "oh well" I was told in June when the estimate wnet from $500 to over $1,100 that if I spent the moeny i wouldn't have to deal with my transmission for years. That statement was the only reason I agreed to the $1,100 plus repair in the first place and now the transmission is leaking again only 6 months and 6 thousand miles later. xxxxty work and customer service and dishonest service advisor. at the diesel truck dept (Isuzu?) they worked extra hard and went beyond the call to help me get my extended warranty company to cover my transmission repair. the warranty company didn't want to be liable, and went beyond the call to help me get my extended warranty company to cover my transmission repair. the warranty company didn't want to be liable, but your guys made sure they were provided the opportunity to "see for themselves" and were able to convince them to rightfully pay my claim. it wasn't their money that they were fighting for because Chapman was going to get paid either way ! but now, being retired, it sure was nice that it did not come out of my pocket !! thank for the extra effort. When calling, I always get in as soon as I need to for service. Everyone is right on time and the work is completed in a timely manner. Everyone is always very friendly and helpful. This time I brought in my vehicle because I thought two different things were broken, but come to find out buttons were pushed in that shouldnt have been so nothing really needed to be done. I got an oil change and an extra key made and was onmy way. More

I brought my car for service. I arrived early and Doug made me feel welcome. He told me what to expect. Doug called me to let me know car was finished. Your dealorship was very accommodating to all of our requests. We asked for things that were not normal and Dan Boardman our salesperson bent over backwards to see that we were happy.
