I felt that the pricing was excessive but I wanted the work done by dealer. I felt pressured to buy original GM wheel bearing versus an after market paid for by the extended warranty. I own a 2006 Saturn Vue Red Line. Since GM killed Saturn, I had no where to take my vehicle for service, except the AAA center which is always booked three months in advance. I got a letter from GM telling me that Chapman is now the official service provider for Saturn vehicles. They even included a coupon for a free oil change as an incentive. At my Saturn dealer, they knew me by name and knew my vehicle. I always felt welcome there and always received the most amazing service. I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical about going to a Chevy dealer so I went with trepidatipn. Len Bishop laid any fears I had to rest with his heart-felt welcome. He knew about the TSB for my Vue and made me feel welcome from the get-go. When my Vue was ready, in less than three hours I might add, he called. He explained everything that was done and showed me paperwork. My Vue was washed, the tires were shined up and they even vacuumed it. WOW!! Thank you for such amazing service. I will be back. More
I came in with a coupon to do a Ac tune-up. The coupon was deceptive. It stated a price of $49.95 to tune up my Ac, but my bill ended up to be $82.39. They found a leak which they said was a seal and I was deceptive. It stated a price of $49.95 to tune up my Ac, but my bill ended up to be $82.39. They found a leak which they said was a seal and I had to pay for the Freon. The coupon leads one to believe that the freon is included. I found out that the coupon was only for the labor. Everything else was extra. The work was good, but I felt the coupon was misleading . All- in all, my ac is cool on low temp. Thank you. More
We had 3 things to be done: Lube & Oil (Very Good), Noise in engine (Fixed very well), and "World Class Inspection" (missed several things - may not have been done). A headlight had gone out on my Saturn Outlook. I am not challenged in the maintenance arena but, after looking under the hood and consulting my owners manual I decided it was a job for a professional. I called and was told I could come in immediately. After a short wait the service advisor told me the wiring harness had defaulted and the repair would be covered under my extended warranty. Mr. Bishop was cordial informative and very friendly. There was no debate on "if" my repair was covered. I realize not all service visits may be as pleasant as this one but I came away with the attitude that I will not hesitate to come in again for my service needs. Gary Snyder More
I will no longer purchase any vehicles from Chevrolet. Ever since my warranty ran out my car has been nothing but problems. Within 100 miles of going over, my airbag light came on. Just now it was the ignition that got stuck which was a known issue for cobalts but never recalled. I took it in and at first was told I would have to pay for it because I'm over mileage for the warranty. My car is a 2009 which I bought brand new. There was no reason for it to break other than faulty parts. When I asked for a manager I was told there was no manager there. Well, 5 minutes later the service rep comes and tells me he talked to his manager and that it would be covered...after saying there is no manager there? The service rep was friendly but don't lie when someone asks for a manager. I am in the customer service industry and that is just poor customer service. When they fixed it, they broke and scratched the plastic bottom bezel as well so I have to go back yet again in 2 days and waste more time to get that fixed. It looks like my car was broken into, not something I want if I go to sell it. Also, my automatic lights don't work correctly which started about 1000 miles over my warranty which after research, hasnt only happened to me. Another thing, I paid for an alarm and it wasnt even installed. Over 6 months after buying the car I got a call because they forgot to switch it from the dealer alarm to mine...and I paid for it the day I bought the car. I also purchased the nitrogen for life and when i came to get my tires filled, they left all 4 green caps off the stems. When I returned they applied normal black caps. I used to be a loyal Chevy owner along with my entire family but looks like it may be time for all of us to switch. I'm sorry I bought this vehicle because it has been nothing but problems. More

Irregardless of what went wrong on the car (the windshield wiper motor and assembly breaking and needing to be fixed under warranty), or the Aveo's occassional exorbitant service expenses (the past windshield wiper motor and assembly breaking and needing to be fixed under warranty), or the Aveo's occassional exorbitant service expenses (the past 40,000 mile sevice and upcoming 60,000 mile service), Jeff has always made sure that he explains the reason, goes over the costs, leaves me no suprises, and has the work done in a timely fashion. I'm not a car person and surely would not elect to spend my time and money this way. However, Jeff's efforts and your quick lube service are really the keys to my continually returning to Chapman to have the necessary car service requirments performed. I'm not real pleased about the $700 non-warranty covered alternator going out at 35,000 miles, but that's a Chevy problem that may preclude me from purchasing another Chevy. I've had nothing but positive experiences with Chapman's services. Thanks Jeff! More
Purchased a used vehicle on 2-19-2011 and we are still dealing with the dealer to get parts that were promised upon purchase. No follow up calls we have to call and make sure they are getting us what we need. Between the date of purchase we had made at least 5 trips back to the dealer for things they forgot. Overall the whole experience was horrible and I will never buy another car from here or send anyone to go what we have been thru. You would think that a dealership could stick to there word and get the parts promised at point of sale and you as the customer would not be dealing with it a month later. More
