First lesson, NEVER buy a ford from a chevy dealer! Or probably any other brand that is not a chevy. Second Lesson, make everyone put stuff in writing, and get it copied. This should have been a simple transaction of buying a used Ford Fusion from Chapman. I worked with Matt to purchase the car, after several meetings we completed the sale with several notes; 1) change head rests on front seat, this included removing original fusion headrests and replacing them with a different model, THEN getting the upholstery to match colors. 2) remove scratch on drivers side panel by replacing panel 3) remove door ding on drivers rear door. It took several months to coordinate a time to bring the car in. During that four months, I stopped in twice. Once to see Matt (nothing got done because Marty was not in), second time to see Matt and Marty with the assurance that I would be called back (this call back never happened). On April 12th I was finally able to drop off the car for four days. The plastic scratch was not able to be fixed. The door ding was improved but now shows a slightly different paint color on the door. The headrests were not able to be replaced. A week later I dropped off the car to have the replacement headrests put in. On saturday 4/23 I stop by to pick up the car, and find that the replacement headrests were the original model in a ford fusion. This headrest was the "dealbreaker" on the first sale in December. The only reason I agreed to purchase the car was because they found a replacement to the original. I wanted the replacement headrests kept in the car with fabric to match the rest of the car. If I thought it were easier to do, I would return the car and undo the sale. I cannot positively recommend the Chapman dealership to anyone for any reason. More
This is my seventh car, and the Chapman Dealership is by far the most wonderful, organized, well run dealership ever!!! If all dealerships ran like this, GM would have never had a problem. Here is the source of our disappointment. We live in Tucson, and only infrequently come to Phoenix. I had called ahead to schedule service for recalls, and was told everything was fine. When my wife got there, she was told there were several recalls and you did not have all the parts to complete the work. In the future, it would have been better to either tell us that, and we would schedule the appointment another time when you had the parts, or to be sure the parts are there when we get there. Otherwise, we were treated well and have no issues with the service that got performed. More

Service was performed to expectations, used the synthetic oil that I brought to dealership and brought me the empty bottle to insure it was used as requested. Throughout the weeks of working with Jackie, she showed how much she loves her job and has shown that there are employee left in this world with great customer service skills. She cared for the well being of my children and made sure we were in a vehical that would also meet the needs of my 3 growing boys. She was always so patient with me when I would call to ask any question or inquire about anything. She also called in the days after te purchase just to ensue that everything was still going good and just to see how I was enjoying the HHR. It was truely an amazing experience! This is the second vehical that wehave bought from Chapman Chevorlet and by far Jackie is the best sales representative I have ever worked with. She made the whole experience painless and effortless. I would have to say that working with Jackie has actually made purchasing a vehical fun and xciting. With her great customer service skills and extream knowledge of the company and vehicals on site, she is an asset to your company. I hope that Jackie can be recognized for her oustanding abilities. I also hope that she can keep doing what she does and helping families just like mine!
