The day after I posted this review, the General Manager responded with an apology and an offer to make up for the bad experience. A week later the GM assistant called letting me know they had a couple of vehicles they just took in that they would offer to me before they hit the public lot at what ever reasonable price I name. Did not take the offer to drive down and look at them because they had too many miles on them. I do not fault the dealership for not having the vehicle I want, I am a very picky buyer when spending my own cash for a vehicle. I do have a problem when I call to verify a vehicle is on the lot, told it is there, take time off work to go all the way down to look at it only to have a second sales person look me in the eye and flat out lye telling me he walked past it on the way in to work that afternoon when the whole time it is in another state. Chapman appears to be making an honest effort to reverse damage done. To be honest, this will take some time to resolve on my own personal level.

Dear Customer, The estimate for repair on the phone was correct. When making a repair to a vehicle we need to verify the concern and be certain it is only the affected component involved. This diagnostic procedure not only pinpoints the exact problem but tests other involved systems for possible failure, not only saving a second trip but keeping the customer from doing a repair that does not fix the problem. It does not appear you had a full understanding of this when you gave us your vehicle for service, and for that I do apologize. The other dealer prices quoted were for replacement only minus diagnosis. Knowing you were not completely informed we matched that price.
