All the staff at Chapman Chevrolet are FANTASTIC. we purchased vehicle in the past and have not always had the best experience. we had the worst unorganized service ever, none of them knew there job..including the managers.we were given pending terms 2 times trying to lease a new car,after driving many hours to get there,we ended u knew there job..including the managers.we were given pending terms 2 times trying to lease a new car,after driving many hours to get there,we ended up not doing any terms the price just kept going up. the only good thing was they refunded our deposit in a timely manner. my advice to all dont go there. and never try to trade in a year end lease,they dont know how to do that either.i have never been to a dealership when terms that you sign the first time werent right,they even got it wrong the second time so third time they lost. i should have read reviews first. More
The price seemed okay for plugs and wires and that is what I am rating quality of work on, I am one that usually does my own vehicle work, I was unable to for medical reason ended up only having them cha what I am rating quality of work on, I am one that usually does my own vehicle work, I was unable to for medical reason ended up only having them change plugs and wires it seemed high priced but met the average when I called around. If there was a quality of diagnostics I would rate a 1. My issue is, I asked for a quote to fix the vent to the drives feet, it didn't work. What I got back was a outrageous quote of $1200.00 to remove the dash to fix passengers side all vents. Dealer stating that the passenger’s side only blew hot air. That is a understatement it only blows heated air!, I live in Phx, AZ. Now the truck will sit until I can fix it because it blows heated air and makes it just too hot to be in it, yes I have the AC shut off and controls set to cold but it still blows the heated air. Now why this is bothering me is when I took it in I didn't have that problem. I figure they pulled a wire or vacuum hose off while trying to diagnose the driver’s foot vent and want to charge me the $1200.00 for the work it will take to find out which wire/vacuum they pulled. More

On the evening of Monday September 9th the ignition on my Saturn ION locked up and the car would not turn off. Nothing I knew to do was fixing the problem. I was FREAKING OUT. I called Chapman Chevrolet Saturn ION locked up and the car would not turn off. Nothing I knew to do was fixing the problem. I was FREAKING OUT. I called Chapman Chevrolet on Baseline in Tempe and spoke with Jason Strachan. I explained my dilemma and asked if it would be okay to drive over. He said 'sure!' I was met with a welcoming smile, despite it being 15 minutes before close. Jason and two of his colleagues took the time to help me right away: opened the hood, removed a fuse and stopped that car! I was sent home with a loaner and a lot less stress than when I arrived. (my only other alternative would have been to let the car run out of gas - can you imagine?) The following morning Len in Service called to tell me what the problem was and what it would cost to repair. Several hours later, I'm back on the road! I am forever grateful for Jason and his colleagues who came to my aid. They were professional, encouraging and so kind. They literally rescued me from the NIGHTMARE of ‘the car that would not stop running.’ Based on this experience, from this day forward, I will tell everyone who’ll listen about the extraordinary customer service and assistance I received at Chapman on Baseline. My experience at Chapman Chevrolet in Tempe, AZ on September 2, 2013 was the best car buying experience of my entire life. Carlos from the sales department greeted us as we walked up to the sales bui September 2, 2013 was the best car buying experience of my entire life. Carlos from the sales department greeted us as we walked up to the sales building and asked "how may I help you". I appreciated the fact that he didn't "pounce" on us like a "vulture" (which I have experienced at other dealerships). We told him we were interested in purchasing a 2012 or 2013 Chevy Cruze. Carlos said he would be glad to help us find a car. Because it was hot and humid he said he would get a vehicle to drive us to the lot to look at cars. We looked at a few Cruze's and as we were heading back to the building Carlos said he wanted to show us a 2013 Malibu that he thought we might like. He said he would be able to offer us a great deal on this car and he was right. We really liked the Malibu and while he was getting pricing on the Cruze's we decided that we wanted the Malibu. When he came back and we told him this he said "I will be glad to work with you on buying the Malibu". What ensued was a pleasant, friendly, and honest negotiating session. Carlos was very informative on the car itself and the pricing. He treated us with respect, kindness, and care. He mentioned the golden rule of "do unto others as you would have them do unto you". He gave us a great deal on a great car and we will certainly recommend him and Chapman Chevrolet to family and friends that are interested in buying a vehicle. Carlos listened to us us from the start and never tried to sell us something we didn't want (which I have experienced at other dealerships). If I could give Carlos and Chapman Chevrolet 20 stars on the review I would! Thank you once again Carlos and Chapman Chevrolet, when we are ready to buy another vehicle we will be heading to Chapman Chevrolet! More
I HIGHLY un-recommend buying a car car here , unless you never plan on selling it, and dont mind replacing . DO NOT trade in a vehicle there.
