We have multiple salesman in my family and they despise people like them. I would NEVER recommend this dealership to ANYONE. The manager, Jim, tried to tell me they don't have a return policy like I'm a moron and would believe whatever he said. Lied about the manager above him being in and thought he could make me take the car home another day so he would have a chance to get rid of my car and leave me with no other choice. Manipulative and distasteful. Finance department tried to tell me that my pay off wasn't being added to my loan, but that they had to 'show it in the paperwork' upon further research... That's exactly what they did! Added it to my loan amount and tried to tell me it wasn't. My husband called and had to make them understand that we were leaving with my car otherwise they'd be sorry. I'm at the end of my pregnancy and yet they thought upsetting me (with a toddler in tote) was acceptable behavior. Beware of this place. Do your research. More
worse experience at any business I've ever been too My salesman Mike was ok, but I came in asking for a malibu or an impala to trade in my car. Mike & his sales manager Robert Revere told me there was no way for me to get a malibu or impala because there were no rebates & informed me that i needed a rebate and they also told me there were no rebates at any chevy dealerships & that they're all the same, so Mike talked me into getn a silverado & I had to talk the sales manager into lowering it as much as possible & was not very reasonable & they stared tryn to get me to pay 900 a month then 800 then 735 then 715 a month that i finaly agreed on. I checked Freeway & they have way more inventory & have way more malibus & impalas with better rebates, so i called & seen there dicounts online and talked to salsman Matt and he was straight foward told me the rebates and what he can most likely do for me. So the very next day i go back to chapman and tell them i want my car back. All of the sudden they have an impala for 15% off after they told me there were no rebates at any chevy dealerships. I went to work and let them figure out the numbers, that Robert Revere would not giv me a deal on & wasnt realy the impala i wanted. So i told him I wanted my car back. Robert Revere told me "it doesnt work that way if I want to ill keep you in that truck, your starting to f***ing xxxx me off, im tryn to work a deal out with you & i need u to be patiant & sit down and wait or i can keep you in that truck so get in ur f***ing truck and f***ing leave" I start makin calls seeing what i should do and nobody really knew what to do so i jus went back and started asking everybody for my car back and to talk to a gm or another sales manager besides Robert. So after a couple hours i finally got my car back. I went to freeway Chevrolet I was in & out in an hour & half with the car I wanted with a better rebate than chapman and the saleman and the sales manager Todd gave me a way better deal and got me out in about. I use to like chapman Chevrolet but as long as Robert Revere is working ther i will never get a car from them. I've bought 4 different cars and this was the worse experience i have ever had at any dealership. I dont understand how Robert Revere is a sales manager, he was very rude, disrespectful and very very unprofessional. Swearing at a customer and trying to bulldog me into keepin the truck that i didnt want in the first place & bc i dont need it and didnt come in for it & the payment was way too high 715, they tried for 900. Worse experience by far at any company ever. By the way this is my first yelp review I've ever done. I never bother to yelp anybody bc its never that bad of an experience so I had to yelp this time. So chapman lost my business I will go to van or freeway (I've bought 3 cars from van Chevrolet & now one from freeway chevrolet) but never chapman never again. Never delt with somebody who is a manager that was that unprofessional. I'll never go back to chapman More

He was very candid and worked with his manager to make the deal work. They were able to make the deal meet my needs ad weren't pushy or overbearing at all. I'm glad I drove the 45 min to get my new truck from Chapman. More

Chapman sold a new, Chevrolet SUV with high ground clearance to my 88 year old, 5 foot tall mother. She needed a step stool to get into and a parachute to get out of the vehicle. When in the driver's seat, she couldn't see over the dash and hood. She couldn't reach the rear hatch to close it so Chapman suggested bolting a strap to the cheap interior plastic and she could grab that to close the hatch. She was suckered into buying a $900 extended warranty. The warranty is likely to outlive her! She was given the vehicle and the owner's manual and "kicked to the curb". 2. Two weeks and 300 miles later, she was very dissatisfied with the vehicle and returned to Chapman asking to trade it in for a Chevy sedan. The sales staff was slow in all respects to address her concerns; they were slow to even greet us on our arrival at the car lot. They provided misinformation concerning which Chevy models have power seats available. They offered her less than 70% of the purchase price as the trade in value of the recently purchased SUV. She would have had to cough up an additional $7100 to buy a sedan from Chapman. 3. She went to a competitor's auto dealership and was treated as a "first class" customer even though she was shopping for an economy car. The sales staff was responsive, generous, courteous, and respectful. Questions weren't just answered, new, useful information was provided. The competitor credited her SUV trade-in at $2000 more than Chapman was willing to credit her. The final price for the competitor's sedan she purchased had her adding an additional $3800-over $3000 less than what Chapman had asked. When she returned the following day to pick up the vehicle, the sales staff spent an hour with her reviewing the essentials of the vehicle and electronics operation. They would have spent more time if she wanted them to extend the session. The first oil change and tire rotation for the car was scheduled for 3 months hence and she was introduced to the service tech; she declined to meet the person who would do the window tinting. 4. The competitor's vehicle is flat out a better car-better interior, better warranty, with comparable mechanical and safety features. Did I say that it cost less than the Chevy? Did I say that the competitor's staff was interested, involved, and engaged in assisting an 88 year old woman while Chapman's was aloof, apathetic, and, I'll say it, arrogant. Chapman made it's money but not a friend and certainly not a family of repeat customers. More

We were met with Ike M. and George Salman, to let us know what they had on their lot. They did not have exactly what we wanted, so Bill S. said he would look for what we wanted. They got the car we wanted within 2 days, we bought our 2nd Traverse from Chapman yesterday and we are happy with the way there was no high pressure sales talk. We will be back when we are ready to buy again. Frank and Shirley More

Can't beat Champman's Came to Chapman's for a safety recall on my current vehicle, was contemplating a purchase and left with a new Chevrolet. Had a great experience from Came to Chapman's for a safety recall on my current vehicle, was contemplating a purchase and left with a new Chevrolet. Had a great experience from the beginning of the search thru the end of the financing and the follow up after taking delivery. Purchasing a car can be very traumatizing but I never experienced anything but friendly, helpful and interest in my need and being able to give me the reason to be a Chapman's customer. The staff is friendly and helpful - made the whole experience an A+. Noni More
