We are working diligently with the lender top resolve the concern, I apologize that you are caught in the middle of the lenders lack of explanation, We have followed protocol for paying off a trade and processing, there has been no dishonesty on our part. We are waiting for the lender to respond with an explanation. This is first time in our experience with this type of situation, I’m sure that we can work through it and resolve. As it turns out it was not the lenders error. It was an error in the payoff process at the dealer level. After now 3 days of back and forth with the dealer, and lender, we are back where we started. Thankfully the lender has put a 30 day freeze on the account to ensure that the dealer has a chance to get them the remainder of the payment, however, this is the same check that the dealer said they sent the lender on multiple occasions but has never done.
