I did a ton of research and online shopping (I'm not new at this). Chapman had the best deal in Maricopa Co. for what I was looking for. Mike Flynn, our salesman, was very personable and knowledgeable. You should ask for Mike Flynn if you're looking for a comfortable and pleasant car buying experience. Mike handed us to Tyler May for our financing. Tyler also proved to be a hospitable and competent team member. Working with these two was enjoyable without any "hard sale" that is often expected at car dealerships. More

We are so relieved and thankful that Chapman listened to our concerns. We saw a car we really liked at Chapman Chevrolet so we drove over there to check it out Thursday 3/9/17. Our salesman, Timothy Valenzuela, was actually really great to work with at first BUT lead us to believe that we could talk to the manager about taking the “Chapman Package” out of the deal which is just tinted windows, dent guards for the doors, and nitrogen for the tires – for $1240!!!! Tim informed us that banks would not finance a vehicle costing less $5000 – we later found out this is a lie – and insists that we will probably have to keep the package. We went on with the deal although financing wasn’t quite worked out yet, believing we would make some changes later after we figure out what kind of financing we get. The next day, we got to thinking that we could just get a personal loan with our bank for what we didn’t put down rather than getting financed for the car and then we could take that Chapman Package off. On Saturday we talked to Bob, a Sales Manager, who WAS NOT HELPFUL, rude even. He essentially told us that they had taken $1000 off the price because we found the car online but if we pushed to change anything in the deal or pay it all cash rather than being financed by them, they would add it back to the price. We told him we would like to take the car back, he told us we could not because we signed paperwork even though the deal wasn’t finalized – like I said, we thought we would make changes based on what information we get back from the banks. We talked to Ben, another Sales Manager, and he told us he would call us back in half an hour after he looked at our paperwork. He never did. By the way, part of the claims about why the Chapman Package was such a good deal was that tinted windows are a MUST for Arizona, a safety concern – too bad the A/C wasn’t even charged. Basically, we went in there telling them how much we wanted to spend, they somehow doubled the price and have threatened to add more. We were misled the entire process and are now stuck in a contract that they can apparently add to but we cannot alter. This place is out to get your money and does not care about their customers. Top notch service I used to bring my 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix here for service. I got a call from Dexter that my car was in a $2,000 ball park to repair. After test driving the ford focus at another dealership, I found that was the car for me. The car I purchased had a strange vibration which turned out to be motor mounts and a clutch. Which is odd for a car with only 27,000 miles, of course parts are going to need to be ordered. Repairs were done in less than a week, and I was given a 2017 Malibu to drive until then. Wayne helped me out a lot during financing and got me a really great rate even with my not so great credit score. Tim did so much running around getting things from my Pontiac that I forgot and then going back and getting things I forgot I forgot. Jim was just an awesome human being, easy to talk to, and really cared about what I had to say. Car runs great, had it about a week now. I really bless you guys, Dexter, Tim, Jim and Wane. I appreciate your patients, trustworthiness and hard work. I don't see myself doing business anywhere else. It's a shame a bought a Ford those guy's at Chapman Ford have some big shoes to fill. Went in to get an oil change on my 2016 Chevy Cruze and mentioned to Isaiah that I had a question about a possible trade in. He was very helpful and explained the process and I am now a proud owner of a 2017 Chevy Malibu! Throughout the whole process he kept in contact with me to let me know what was going on and was always available to answer any questions I had. He made made me feel like I was a part of the Chapmen family! Great dealership with great employees! I recommend anyone who is looking to buy a car to stop in and ask for Isaiah!!! More

Extremely Dishonest Dealership I strongly recommend staying away from this dealership. They are very dishonest. We purchased a 2016 Malibu in August or September of 2016. Our lease on our 2014 Malibu was almost up and I was getting calls from GM to come in for a test drive. Instead of taking my car as a trade, or turn in my lease, they opted to purchase my vehicle. It is now January of 2017 and the final bill to GM Financial has not been taken care of. They undershot the payoff on the car, therefore, sent them a payment that was much less than the actual payoff. We were told in October that a check would be sent to GM Financial for the difference as it was their fault. We were again told that a check would be sent in November, no check was sent. Then we were told again in December that a check would be sent. We were then also told in December that Chapman was disputing the payment. we received another bill in January from GM Financial. We called the rep we were working with at GM Financial, and they said that the dealership still had not sent a check, nor had they contacted GM Financial to dispute the bill. I attempted to leave a message for the owner. Instead, what I received was a call from a sales person. A sales person! Meanwhile, GM if credit reporting me due to the dealership error. Don't deal with this dealership unless you also want to deal with an attorney. More
