We completely understand the stress that would be caused by the situation and truly apologize, again. The email that was provided to us by your wife during the purchase was the email that was reported to BMW. Calls absolutely were returned (we have all calls recorded throughout the dealership) and taken extremely seriously – after an audit of the deal, it was discovered that the email address that was provided to us was the email address that was inputted. Transparency is extremely important and you and your wife were invited in to review all documents from the deal including the form personally filled out by your wife with the email address provided, which has caused all of this upset. This meeting was declined by you. We promptly updated all of our records after being notified and have communicated with you all findings. The review posted is months after the original concern was discussed and the result of not terminating your current lease. The offer to come in and review the original paperwork, the email address you provided to confirm that the email address was reported to BMW was declined for a second time. The last conversation was extremely sympathetic but ultimately, the email address that was provided to us by your wife is the email that was reported to BMW. Any email correspondence that is sent out is automated emails conducive to the purchase. We do have control internally to improve the process to prevent mistakes, however, we cannot control the information provided to us by the customer. The customer would be assumed to be more aware of their own correct email address than we would be. While we understand the mistake made by your wife has caused you the problems listed in your review, and have tried to accommodate her mistake by updating the information on our end, the mistake did not stem from any error on our part.
