I endured over 8 hours of the worst auto buying experience in over 40 years of buying cars, today. I was presented with several different offers including one with a nearly $25000 balloon payment experience in over 40 years of buying cars, today. I was presented with several different offers including one with a nearly $25000 balloon payment after 5 years, I rejected it I, and explained I did not want that type of financing program and at that point should have just left, as I was getting up to do so, I believe it was a sales manager who said if he could make me a deal for $1000 per month, would I agree. I did He and the salesman went back into their lounge and shortly thereafter, the sales rep returned and said we had a deal for my car, $3000 down and $1000 per month. I asked what had changed. The sales rep said he didn't know. When I got back into the document processor to sign paperwork, I find the deal wa not as I believed, but for $1050 per month and he had thrown back in the balloon payment. Rather than go back out and start haggling all over again after nearly 9 hours now, I signed what I had to to get the xxxx out of there, in short, I feel screwed, blue and tattooed. I am now saddled with a car that is always worth 25000 less than market value, I screwed up and should have just left. Bur It's now my car and I'll live with it. But when you find my survey completely filled with unsatisfactory you'll know why. I now have purchased my last vehicle ever from Chapman, in prior years I've purchased an X5, and a 550i, and presently own a 2009 750i. I'll let this end here, I will never go through the xx I endured yesterday, again to purchase a car that I will hate, knowing that even after paying off all payments I will have to refinance it to keep or sell it. I've own 2 insurance businesses in the past 20 years, I understand the concept of the closer, but never let my people get so greedy for a deal, they would throw things into the paperwork that a client specifically said he did not want. I will service my cars at Chandler or North Scottsdale. Yours is not the first time I noticed that the guy preparing the paperwork, has a very different idea of what the offer was, but never at a place purporting to be a high end dealership. Buyer Beware! Purchased a CPO 2008 BMW 650i in May Buyer Beware! Purchased a CPO 2008 BMW 650i in May 2010 and was told car was in great shape and that because it was CPO'd, there had been no prior Buyer Beware! Purchased a CPO 2008 BMW 650i in May 2010 and was told car was in great shape and that because it was CPO'd, there had been no prior accidents, paint work or body damage. After a few weeks, I noticed the front end bumper and fenders were not lining up correctly. I looked behind the bumper and saw parts that held the bumper on had been glued together and were coming undone. After taking it to a body shop, they pointed out bent aluminum parts in the engine compartment, a replaced engine hood and a poor paint job on the front end. I took the car back to the dealer and they told me the car would be sent to Chapman BMW Certified body shop for repairs. After not hearing from the dealer for a week, I went to the body shop where my car was supposed to be, and they told me the car was never brought in. Apparently Chapman BMW heard I was looking for my car and called me and told me they sent it to an independent shop they use. Fast forward to today... My car has been in twice to this body shop. It was there for 4 weeks the first time and after I went to pick it up, the bumper and fenders were still misaligned even though they had replaced bent and missing parts underneath. I brought it back a second time a few weeks later and they had it for another 3 weeks. This time they replaced the bumper and left fender. Although the paint job looks good, the bumper and front end is still misaligned which leads me to believe there may be frame or unibody damage. Since most of the front end panels have been replaced and repainted, I will undoubtedly have a hard time trading it in or trying to sale it at a later without taking a huge loss since it appears it has had major work. I paid a premium to purchase a CPO'd vehicle for what I thought was supposed to be a car that offered "peace of mind" since it had to pass BMW's vigorous inspection in order to be certified. Don't make the same mistake I did and make sure to have the car inspected before purchasing it since BMW's inspection process is not as thorough as they make it seem. More
Terrible service and attitude. Leased a Z-4 from them in 2007. Great Car. Two potential customers approached me and asked me if I worked there. They were from out of town and wanted to purchase a vehicle. I advised them that I had talked to a employee who had me waiting for one hour in the coffee room and didn't know were any of them went. I then advised them and provided them with directions to Scottsdale BMW (were I had my Z-4 serviced. They are friendly and attentive to their customers, unlike BMW Chapman that will treat you like Crap. Maybe they should change there name to Crapman on Camelback. More
He was very friendly and informative when I went to buy my certified pre-owned BMW. I did not feel pressured and I didn't have to go through a lot of different sales people to buy my car at the price I wa my certified pre-owned BMW. After making an appointment to accommodate Chuck my sales associate, Alex helped me because chuck was out of the office? The night i left with my car, someone forgot to give me a TLP so i was out at a restaurant and realized i didnt have a license plate, so i went back to the dealership it was around 8:30, it was such a hassle to keep going back there i felt really unorganized but it wasnt my fault; in anycase alex made a phone call and rusty came with one in about 5 minutes, they were really great and honest about everything they really helped me in the situation! Artin was very helpful, courteous, patient and helped me to select the perfect car for me. I visited the dealership 3-4 times prior to making my decision. The price I was given was great and the car was delivered after receiving a very detailed service. Artin showed me all the features of the car and how they work to make sure I was comfortable with the car. He made a follow up call the next day to make sure I was satisfied or if I had any questions. I received a very nice letter from the dealership asking about my satisfaction and if I had any questions. I also got a call from the dealership to see how my experience was. I have a BMW for sale that I wanted to keep safe and in a garage. They are keeping my old car for me until I sell it. I am a customer for life! More

Alex was very pleasant, low pressure, and really knew the car inside and out. I felt like I was treated fairly and professionally. I worked with Jon Lewis in the Service dept. for a few post-sale details. I read some of the negative service reviews posted here and that's what prompted me to add my comments. My service experience was absolutely positive. Jon is great to work with. Everything was done to my satisfaction. These two guys are a real asset to the Chapman team. More
