He even followed up with me a few days later to make sure that the work was up to my standards. Not many sales people care once the sale is done. I purchased a used VW CC through James Valentine. James was highly responsive and the car was priced well. There was a latent defect with the car that was discovered within the first month, but the dealer was highly responsive and the car was priced well. There was no pressure for buy,buy,buy, now like its the end of the world that you get from the other dealers. We was looking at another vehcile,but unfortunaly it did not fit our personality. Than James came to the rescue with the Cadillac XLR that was on the lot..We test drove it and fell in LOVE!!! It has Road Trip written all over it!! This was a car buying experience that lasted for a couple weeks...and it was a great one! I was searching for a Range Rover Sport Supercharged and found Certified Benz and Beemer on the internet. First of weeks...and it was a great one! I was searching for a Range Rover Sport Supercharged and found Certified Benz and Beemer on the internet. First of all, their website is one of the best I've seen. They included the Carfax, the details I wanted to know to narrow my search, and high resolution photos. I didn't mention yet, but I'm in California. When I called, salesman Gary Gordon took the call. He was extremely helpful and gave me the sense that he was truly there to help me find what I wanted, not just to sell me something. Being so far away and not able to see the Rover first hand, I had several questions. Gary answered all the questions, took measurements, verifed that everything worked (its a 2008), and made me feel comfortable with the long distance purchase. The DealerRater score was one of the things that clinched it for me and these folks lived up to it. Others at CBB must be given thanks as well. When calling for information and Gary was not there, Trevor stepped up and showed his Sales Manager status by covering for his guy. The emailed purchase agreement was nice, made things easy to run through my credit union, and simply added to the professionalism of CBB. Tracy and Chris in Finance walked me through everything. Chris took care of and overnighted all the paperwork. Tracy, bless her, held my hand through the Arizona to California transfer. Finally, when I was ready to hop a plane and drive the Rover back, Gary and the team gave me an outstanding deal to ship it to my door. I don't know if they can economically do that for everyone, but to southern California it was that nice extra touch. Special thanks go out to Lee who took care of the shipping issues with the carrier, you are a great guy. CBB has wonderful and unique vehicles. I could have driven an hour south to find dozens of Range Rover Sports in black, gray, or white, but CBB had one in my desired Rimini Red/Ivory combination. The overall experience was great. The whole staff was very friendly and we had the pleasure of working with Berrin and Jeff who are very knowledgable and just love there job, so helpful and friendly. Not to mention the prices are right on the money. Funny story, while we were in the lounge waiting for our paper work (what a nice lounge by the way). We were watching out the window and one of the employees pulled up in a new BMW. Another employee stopped him jumped in the car and they drove about 10 feet and both got out of the car. We started laughing, but really it was so great to see employees so passionate about cars and there jobs. We bought the car, was quick and smooth. What a great experience.
