I arrived at the dealership around 11am on Friday, May 29th and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of vehicles in their inventory. I walked the lot after parking my ShelbyGT350 in the front parking 29th and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of vehicles in their inventory. I walked the lot after parking my ShelbyGT350 in the front parking space, as I wanted them to see my trade, while I cruised the lot looking for a car that might interest me. I was glad there wasn't anyone out there to pressure me while I shopped. After walking the lot for 15 minutes, I decided to head inside to the showroom to speak with a salesperson. I stood inside the center of the showroom floor for 15 minutes, even directly looking at employees face to face at their desks. 2 employees walked passed me without any of them saying a word or making eye contact, as I stood there waiting to be greeted or asked if I had been helped yet. I even looked in the sales tower through the glass at 2 employees, who could see me standing in front of their office, not one of these 5-star, staff members approached me to greet me or see if I needed any help. It was like I was intentionally ignored. After waiting 15 minutes, I decided to walk out to my car and leave. I took my business elsewhere, even though they had vehicles I was interested in that were in my price range, I refused to give this place my business after being snubbed like that. Now, I'm not sure why this happened, but as a potential customer, looking to spend $50k at their dealership, one would expect to be treated better. This was not the 5-star experience you read about in their reviews. Having purchased over 40 vehicles in my lifetime, I have never had an experience like this at other dealerships. As I was driving to the Land Rover dealership in Chandler, it made me wonder if I was treated like I didnt belong because CBB is located in Scottsdale or perhaps it might be due to the color of my skin. I would hate to feel, the latter had anything to do with the reason why the staff ignored me, but the thought did cross my mind. I gave this place one star, only because they have good inventory, but they need to be more aware when customers walk into their showroom. This may not have been anyone else's experience, but it was my personal experience and I felt it necessary to share with others who read reviews. Certified Beemer and Benz must do better than this, moving forward. More
