Out of State Sale I worked with Alan by email and then my phone on the purchase of a vehicle. I was from out of state, just over 3 hours away, so I didn't want to make I worked with Alan by email and then my phone on the purchase of a vehicle. I was from out of state, just over 3 hours away, so I didn't want to make the trip unless I was confident I'd be purchasing the car and we had the price agreed to ahead of time. Alan sent me additional pictures and offered to send a video of one portion of the car I asked about. He was up front about the price and assured me there wouldn't be an extra costs when I showed up. It went smooth when I arrived and it wasn't at all the "typical" dealer experience that makes you avoid and dread buying a new car. I wish I wasn't so far away but when it's time for another vehicle I'll definitely check in with Alan and Cedar Rapids Toyota because this was definitely my best experience buying from a dealership.
