Least Painful car purchase ever: I stopped by Cavalier Ford, Chesapeake Square, Virginia to look at Mustang GT Premium Convertibles with a specific car in mind I had built and priced I stopped by Cavalier Ford, Chesapeake Square, Virginia to look at Mustang GT Premium Convertibles with a specific car in mind I had built and priced on Fords website. Cavalier did not have the car I wanted but they found me one in Maryland brought it back and I am now the proud owner of a Competition Orange Mustang GT convertible with everything I wanted on it plus some. The price was reasonable and did not require any haggling which my wife and I both hate and so far the purchase was a pleasant one. To be fair I cannot yet rate their service department as I have not had any service done. Mel More

I met him there, he asked my "magic color" and what extras I wanted, pjlled up the inventory and showed me my options. I test drove in town snd short distance on interstate. I loved the car. After I bought it he sat I it and completely showed me how rouse all of the bells and whistles. It was without doubt the best car buying experience I have ever had snd I am in my 60's. Dan little hoes above and beyond to meet the needs of his customer and is a true asset to the company. I royals absolutely buy another car ftom him. More

Bad and I'm mad as xxxx. I brought a 2007 Honda Accord from the dealership.. I drove to 2 in half hour there and back on my truck I pulled the car home.. Put 13 miles on it after I got back home check engine light came on call Wayne the finance manger. He told me to take it to the Honda dealership here in Greenville nc and it was 4,473.83 worth of work need to b done to it. The car want start now so I'm stuck in a car loan that I only had for a week only put 13 miles on it... DO NOT BUY ANY CAR FROM THEM UNlESS U WANT TO HAUL JUNK. ANGRY MAN IN GREENVILLE NC..... Well worth the trip for me! I travelled about 3 hours to purchase a pre-owned vehicle, Zach Treece was the salesman I dealt with, I did however commmunicate with several people f I travelled about 3 hours to purchase a pre-owned vehicle, Zach Treece was the salesman I dealt with, I did however commmunicate with several people from their on-line sales staff. They were, as was Zach very nice and accomodating. Trade -in values were all but detemined on my car over the phone as were finance rates for the vehicle I was looking at, all details were in place. I just simply had to drive there and make sure this is what I wanted. Throughout the test drive, Zach was very patience and understanding. He even came there to meet me on his day off. I was very impressed with the entire process. It was by far the easist vehicle purchse I have made. For me this would be the type dealership I would want to visit again. More

Took multiple visits to diagnose and repair my vehicle. Service Department rarely contacted me - I had to call to find out status. And when I did, I was frequently on hold for at least 20 minutes. Sometimes after waiting 20+ minutes, the Cavalier operator would come back on the line and ask me if I had been helped yet, and/or who I was waiting for. Not a good experience at all. . . and I do not recommend the Service Department at Cavalier Ford at Chesapeake Square. More
Outstanding Sales Team Completely blown away with my car buying experience! Previously visited 3 Chevy dealerships- Priority, Hall, Duke & (didn't bother with Rick Hendrick Completely blown away with my car buying experience! Previously visited 3 Chevy dealerships- Priority, Hall, Duke & (didn't bother with Rick Hendrick whom never returned my 2 calls). GM has lost my business for life; their ENTIRE sales staff need to visit Cavalier Ford to see how its truly done! What more can I say about the following: David Applewhilte (sales consultant), he was attentive, direct, patient & truly genuine. Larry Loewenthal (sales manager), physically engaged with me on numerous occasions only to see how everything was going. A characteristic I've never observed in the 3 decades of car buying. Frank Girouard (Finance), the following day painlessly modified the original sales contract to omit an item I no longer wanted. They have earned my future business, which isn't easy to announce since I've never purchased back-back vehicles from the same dealership. Additionally, they also impressed my wife, which says masses. She also plans to purchase her next vehicle here. More
