Mrs. Lawrence, I'm sorry for your perception of a bad experience. I'm sorry that I left a voice mail making sure that you had a good experience with your purchase. In that voice mail I did leave my personal cell phone number so you could contact me if you had any concerns. I give every customer my cell phone for that added personal service and to show how much I back our customer service efforts. I would never expect you to receive a welcome call from a receptionist, I am a General Manager who cares. I want you to know that I did receive a message that you were not happy and did not like receiving a voice mail. I did call you back and did not reach you on two occasions. I figured you would at least try and call me, however I should not of assumed that. Again I am sorry you are not happy about me leaving you that message. About the length of time for delivery. The time is routinely 2 to 3 hours which involves customer selection, demonstration, negotiation, sending the agreement to the lenders, getting lender approved, and then finalizing the legal paperwork. During that time we have free coffee that is provided to all customers. As far as the 30 day check up and movie tickets we give out. I reviewed the file and noticed that Brandon did schedule the appointment with you which is done with the client during the purchase process. It is set up for us to go over the car again and make sure everything is in perfect working order. For your time we give movie tickets. Again I am sorry if Brandon did not fully explain this to you, however I was pleased that our appointment coordinator followed up to make sure you were aware and attempted to make it a one stop experience when you were going to get your tags. In reference to you coming back to cancel the products and your attempt to return your car: I understood that your were returning the car because the passenger seat did not go up or down and part of the process was to cancel products. When you came in I knew exactly who you were and I knew that you were not there to buy a car. However, I was confused with your response to me, I gave a warm welcome and all you said was I will never shake your hand. Mrs. Lawrence, I knew you form the Yacht Club and you were friends with my parents. I understand that you were not happy with us on a business level already. I was not about to have someone appraise your vehicle from my store and upset you more. I actually told you it would probably be better to go to CarMax at this point. I know based on what you were saying that we could never meet any of your expectations and we are truly sorry about that. I was not angry nor did I ever tell you to get your car off the lot. The reason I stood by when your paperwork was being completed for the cancellations was to make sure everything was done correctly. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience that is very unusual for our store if you look at our reputation and history. Sincerely, Stephen P. Sparkman II Casey Kia General Manager
