Buyer Beware - the cars on Carvana are not what they are! We purchased a car back on the March 23rd, was told a delivery date of April 1st between 1:00pm - 2:00pm. 1 hour before the delivery I get a call from the delivery driver saying that things were running behind and they were about to put the vehicle on the truck in Miami (40 min away) but first they are giving the car a once over look to make sure everything was ok. Then I get another call 45 min later saying that the gas cap door had trouble closing due to a small dent next to the door. This was not in the original listing when we chose the car. This dent had to be known already. She said they will be fixing the dent and can schedule the delivery for tomorrow, By this point we had the insurance transferred, so we had a car that we could not drive while this was going on. Then I get a call from someone saying that the repair will take longer. We spoke to headquarters that evening to let them know this was unacceptable, but he said he did not have any answers for me. We did not hear anything for 2 days, then we hear that they need another week to repair and be delivered. A supervisor in corporate did not help and did not ease our troubles. Their customer service skills are very poor in trying to rectify any inconveniences for the customer. Bottom line - we cancelled the order. Its not worth your time especially when this was suppose to be fast and easy. We will never again buy from Carvana or recommend. Their advertising is false. They fail to deliver. Would give less than 1 star. More
VW CC Sport I bought a VW CC Sport on 2/21/19 from the Frisco, TX location and 3 days later it was in the shop due to a faulty manifold intake. 4 days after that I bought a VW CC Sport on 2/21/19 from the Frisco, TX location and 3 days later it was in the shop due to a faulty manifold intake. 4 days after that I had to be towed back to the same VW dealership due to a busted radiator. A week later it is still in the shop because Carvana is REFUSING to accept responsibility for selling me a lemon for a car. The guys at Volkswagen have gone over and beyond to research the parts and history of this car. Only to find out that this car clearly had damage when sold to the auction which Carvana bought it from. Not to mention they will sale you a dream stating they do a 150 point inspection on all of their cars. This couldn’t be further from the truth. And it’s been proven. I put a substantial amount of money down for this car and I paid my first car note on the 1st of this month while my car is still in the shop, to protect my credit! And you know what they told me I need to get a rental car ( which is more money) & i should file with my insurance for the pre-existing damage. The nerve of them. I will say they will call you a million times a day only to tell you there is NOTHING they can do, since it’s past the 7 day return policy even though they have a 100 day warranty policy that comes with them lemon (car). Warranty- scharranty. They don’t honor their policy nor do they stand behind their product. So please if you value your hard earned dollars and you want a car you can actually drive. DO NOT chose Carvana. The concept seems cool but the headache isn’t worth it. More

It turns out that we were sold a dirty car full of sticky substance that wasn’t able to be determined until it got cold. Carvanna will not pay any of the expenses. We have spent over $3000 on fixing this car since we’ve received it less then 7 months ago. More

Delivery disappointment, but overall OK I loved shopping on the Carvana website. It seems they've thought of everything I could want in a online shopping experience. The whole buying process was easy and fun and I got exactly the car and features I wanted at a fair price. Where there was a breakdown was during the delivery phase. I had purchase the car and asked for it to be delivered to my residence. The day of the delivery the local Carvana "vending machine" store texted me to ask if I wanted to pick up the car. I said no. It was all the way across town and a long, stressful drive at rush hour. They texted back and said if I would reconsider, they would "load my car up with goodies" and send me a Visa gift card in the mail. I reconsidered and said I would come pick it up. The "goodies" the said they would "load my new car" with with amounted to a single plastic Carvana drinking cup. It's been over two month and still no Visa gift card. I called customer service and they said it was in the mail but that was a month ago. Still nothing. Overall the shopping experience was easy, and fun but I'm disappointed about the delivery experience. I am very pleased with my car and the Carvana agents I worked with were all friendly and easy to deal with but I feel like a customer that "fell through the cracks." I suspect most folks would have a better experience than me. Be wary of offers to pick up your car from the vending machine. It's neat, but IMO, not worth driving an hour in rush hour traffic. More

On 3/31 six hours before we were to pick up the car we get a phone call that it has been delayed due to "weather". So for 5 days they didn't know of this? They couldn't call us sooner than six hours before pickup? Now I have to wait an additional 4 days!? After reading several bad reviews and seeing other customers faced similar circumstances and some even had their delivery rescheduled multiple times I'm not too optimistic. More

Carvana gave me a quote ONLINE and was higher than both the Toyota dealership and Carmax. I accepted their offer and drove the car to the drop-off point. Carvana had all the paperwork ready and the check was ready too. The whole thing took 5 minutes. Great experience. More

We got two independent inspections done and both mechanics found the car to be heavily damaged in some sort of collision to the undercarriage. Carvana advertises "accident free" and a "150 point inspection". However, the car was making obvious popping sounds in the front end when turning the wheel hard in reverse, was missing whole sections of the undercarriage protector and had visible damage to the axles. It took both mechanics 15 minutes to identify these issues. How could an inspection be done by Carvana and they not see these things as well? My mechanics could not identify the extent of the problem though so I've decided not to repair the car and simply return it. Carvana customer service reps have been nice and responsive, but I feel like they are pushing false advertising with the inspection. It simply was not done or was not done competently or completely. How do you sell a car in this condition? I was extremely excited by the ease and speed of using Carvana and was excited to purchase my 2nd car with them next year. The process up to getting the car home was fantastic. Now its doubtful that I will use them again and warn others to be careful. More

They give you a great price for your vehicle and you complete everything online if you choose to continue the process. I was then able to schedule for someone to come and pick up the vehicle and the gentlemen that came out was timely, friendly and there were only a few papers that needed to be signed. Overall, this was a huge time saver and a wonderful process that I would definitely recommend to others. More
