What we often don't recognize is the other side of that pressure, which is the urgency to make a deal. Carvana lacks both of these. I located a car on Carvana and submitted paperwork. I opted to bring my own financing at 50% of the interest rate they were willing to offer. I applied, was approved, and had an approval letter. This is where the problem started. I had a scheduled delivery date, and was surprising my wife. After a few days, the system still said verifying paperwork, and I received a "we have to reschedule your delivery". After sitting on hold for nearly 45 minutes, I was told that Carvana does not call my specific bank, and they need to wait for my name to show up on "the list". Day after day I called, waited on hold at least 30 minutes to find out that I still wasn't "on the list. Delivery date was changed again, still not on "the list". I contacted my bank, who assured me they would be happy to speak with Carvana, but won't spend the 45 minutes on hold waiting for them. The next day I conference them in and viola! We were able to solve "the list" problem. I'm now on my third delivery date a week and a half later. It is no longer a surprise for my wife because I've had to tell her why I kept making excuses for her to be home only to change when. With Carvana finally on the way, one would think we were done, right? Wrong. On the way here, the driver contacted me to confirm my wife and I were home. I said yes, but my wife had misplaced her driver license. She had per passport for identification, so he told me no issue. Just before he was scheduled to arrive, I received another call from him that in fact the passport cannot be used and they would need to reschedule. I told him to sit still (around the corner from my house) while I called. 25 more minutes on the phone for someone to realize they already had my wife's driver license on file (paperwork validation). So the day comes and they are unloading my wife's "new to her" car. It was pouring down rain (sunny on the original two delivery dates), so we quickly drove it and then signed the paperwork. Once it dried out, I did a deeper inspection of the car to find out one of the items listed in the listing wasn't with the car. I contacted Carvana and was promptly told that anything considered an unattached option is not guaranteed to come with the car, and there is no resolution. I asked to speak to a manager before my seven days. No call, seven days has passed. If you are willing to become the car sales person, Carvana is for you. If you are expecting a sense of urgency to receiving your car, go to the dealer. I will never purchase a car like this again. I would have preferred to spend an entire day haggling with a dealership than two weeks trying to get someone to take my call. More

Everything went well until delivery of car. Truck broke down on way to my house. So man had to drive my new car to my house and by then it was dark outside. I looked over car as best as I could and test dr down on way to my house. So man had to drive my new car to my house and by then it was dark outside. I looked over car as best as I could and test drove it. But didn't notice bend in bottom of driver's door til next day. But it will be fixed by carvana. So I am glad of that. Overall everything was wonderful. I would recommend to others definitely. CARVANA held up to their name. More

Added hours to the car shopping experience Ultimately ended up returning our Carvana car. It was represented accurately, though we did find garbage in consoles. Delivery was slightly difficult. Seemingly only one day per week, which didn't work for us the first week. The biggest downfall, and why we sent the car back was that it wouldn't be inspected until after the 7 day trial(we are in PA). So we would have had to commit to purchase a 20k+ vehicle that didn't have inspection/emissions. We were able to go to a Toyota dealership and get a similar vehicle, with a warranty.......and....a valid inspection/emission sticker, for similar price. And we stayed local ;) More

She asked me if my 2016 Ford fusion was for sale ,I had a add on Craigslist for 2 weeks before this call . I told her it was still for sale and she asked me for a few minutes to give me a offer on my car. I told her yes and about 5 minutes later after answering a few questions she sent me an email with a great offer .I accepted it the next day and scheduled a drop off . I was a little skeptical going in thinking they would change the offer when I got there but it was honestly the best car selling experience I've ever had in my life.i showed up 20 minutes early for my appointment and within 15 minutes they had a Uber there paid for by them to take me back home. They had a check waiting for me with the exact amount we agreed upon. It was so smooth and such an easy transaction. I'll definitely deal with carvana again . Thanks carvana for everything!! More

BUYER BEWARE Carvana claims to sell "accident free" vehicles. This simply untrue.I bought a luxury car from them a little over a year ago. I had the car for 3 months, and it spent most of the time in the dealership service center with the same issue. I finally decided I had purchased a lemon, but what could i do? I called Carvana they pulled a carfax on the car in an attempt to establish that is was not their fault. They told me I had been in accident in the car. This was not true, I have not been in an accident in over 25 years. Long story short, they sold a car without doing their diligence to be sure it was, in fact, accident free. The carfax report they put online to sell me the car was not up to date and the accident reported shortly after I purchased the car. When I brought this to their attention, I was given 2 basic choices, keep the Jaguar (I owed more than it was worth) or select a different car from their site. Circumstances forced me to go with option B. I would have filed a law suit but my year has been spent battling cancer instead. I just hate seeing Carvana get away with lying to the public. More
