The process was great. I got my car and was very happy. Then noticed my same car but the sport model was now in stock and was able to exchange out my car for the sport one even though it was going to be 7 Then noticed my same car but the sport model was now in stock and was able to exchange out my car for the sport one even though it was going to be 7 days past the 7 day return period and Carvana allowed me to keep the current car until the new one could be transported to me. It was a seamless great experience. More
Not as described! They removed the window tint and left residue all over the windows, curbed rims and small dings all over, not mentioned in the listing. Pretty much a take out or leave it attitude, which would of been okay if I hadn't already purchased insurance for the vehicle, and went and had paperwork notarized for that car (both requirements to get the car). The car is solid, low miles but the people here are a joke. First and last carvana purchase. More
The Good: prices were very competitive and selection was better than most dealers in my area. The delivery staff was helpful, courteous, and in general, taking possession of the truck was straightforward, e better than most dealers in my area. The Bad: The website had MAJOR issues during my purchase, so did the telephone system causing a lot of frustration. Since the online experience is the primary customer interface, it needs work. Changing payment options, for example, reset my deal and caused problems with the delivery date. Very frustrating. When I tried to call the toll free number, the nice recording said I could wait 30 minutes or have someone call me back and I wouldn't lose my place in line. Wrong. I never got a call back. I finally did reach someone, very early in the morning, and they were helpful and polite. The UGLY: The vehicle had not passed its emissions test prior to delivery, so it was up to me to return to the inspection place during my 7 day test drive. Therefore the truck was NOT ready for delivery. Thankfully, the testing station did not have the usual 30 min waiting line. A less ugly bummer was I wasn't able to see the vending machine in operation (which I was looking forward to) as my truck didn't fit in it... they should have known that... and I would've saved my time and had it delivered to my house. All that said, I got the exact truck I wanted for a good price. I didn't have to play games with a salesman and their manager so the two stars were mainly due to the technical issues, which were substantial. A company with over a billion in revenue needs to have a flawless customer user interface. More
