Good afternoon. I appreciate your review. We looked at your park assist and determined it was in fact broken. They explained to you that it was due to damage on the front bumper where the sensor is located. Because it was caused by physical damage, it would not be covered under factory warranty. I was told they advised you what it needed and quoted you an estimate of approximately $530.00 to correct the issue. The $65.00 bill was for the time our technician had the car in the repair shop to diagnose the issue. I am sorry you were not satisfied with your experience, but In all fairness, you weren't just handed a bill. You were also given an explanation of the damage and what it would cost to fix it. It is up to you as the consumer as to whether you do or don't fix it. If you have any other questions or wish to discuss this further, please feel free to reach out to me. They gave me an estimate to repair the Park Assist. The estimate came to $530[.00 Approx. Round numbers. Went to their GMC competitor their estimate, same list of items for the repair, was $320.00. Quite a difference for the same scope of work. CARLISE GMC has never been known for reasonable work estimates. Their GMC competitor - Frysinger was much easier to deal with and less hassle. And they did NOT charge me $65 for the estimate. I think you know were I am going for the work.
