I’m happy with the repairs on my car, however I am not happy with them recycling my battery! I bought that battery 2 years ago, a $209 dollar battery from Auto Zone that is guaranteed! When I asked about getting it back I was told I would have to pay $50 dollars to get my own battery back! That is xxxxxxxxx. I want that battery back ASAP! I purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle that came with a 12 month 12,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty as well as the remainder of the 100,000 drive train warranty. My daughter drives the car 60 miles ro a 12 month 12,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty as well as the remainder of the 100,000 drive train warranty. My daughter drives the car 60 miles round trip to college everyday. About 300 miles shy of the 12,000 miles, we began having problems with the gas door not wanting to open. We called CarPros in Tacoma where we purchased the vehicle to schedule an appointment. They did not have an appointment until two weeks. We explained the gas door problem and told them we were approaching the 12,000 miles and asked if we should park the car until the appointment so we don’t go over the mileage. We were told that since we scheduled the appointment before the warranted mileage was up, to go ahead and drive the car as they would honor the warranty. We took the car to the scheduled appointment and was told the gas door assembly is bad and needs to be replaced at just over $200. Then they said we were 300 miles over the 12,000 warranted mileage so they wouldn’t cover it. When we told them we were told it would be covered as we made the appointment before the warranted mileage was up and was told to continue to drive it, they said they wouldn’t honor what they told us and we have to pay for it. STAY AWAY from CarPros in Tacoma as they are dishonest and lie to their customers. They have lost a customer for life. Not only from me but I have told all my friends and family. Don’t believe anything they tell you. Buyer beware!!! More
