Stupid people work here I stopped in on April 1st 2017 to look at a Suburban they had advertised on their website. An individual named Chuck fired up his brain cell and tried to help me before determining the car had sold. In typical bait and switch fashion, he said they do have some other vehicles on the lot with more miles and more money than the one advertised. I left. I went home, checked their website again and saw they had four 2015 Suburbans listed. Figuring Chuck was either too stupid or too lazy to locate their inventory, I called to confirm they do have those vehicles listed. They asked me to come down, that they would pull them up front and when I got there, to ask for Blake. I loaded up the wife and kids and headed back to the dealership not really surprised to not see any Suburbans pulled up front. I guess because I felt like being treated like an idiot, I went in and asked for Blake and was told Chuck would be down.. how exciting. To make a long story short, Blake is Chuck? Chuck only knows three words "I don't know" and they didn't in fact have any of the vehicles but some beat up Suburban they towed back from the Auction. This dealerhip is run by idiots. Don't waste your time. More
Low pressure fun and feeling at home. Gotta tell you, all of my experiences have been great at capitol from sale to service. My wife and I recently lost our 2014 Malibu to a accident and n Gotta tell you, all of my experiences have been great at capitol from sale to service. My wife and I recently lost our 2014 Malibu to a accident and needed to replace it. We weren't sure what exactly we wanted to replace it with, but everyone was very patient with us while we were looking at almost every variety of auto on the lots. We had fun along the way. We finally choose a vehicle at about 7:30 and we were signed car detailed and out the door by 8:10. My wife is not into car shopping or sales experience at all, but she has never once complained about capitol. We could have gone anywhere to purchase our replacement car but capitol is where it's at. Thank you to Toby, David "Digger", and Scott "Mr. Nice guy" for making our experience pleasant, fun, and painless as I know we were probably pretty painful. More
Horrible Customer Service & Repair We took our car in to have the service department take care of recall notice (Service Advisor: Mark Fast) and look at a problem that we had previously We took our car in to have the service department take care of recall notice (Service Advisor: Mark Fast) and look at a problem that we had previously taken it in for. They had our car for 4 months and we received a total of 7 calls giving us updates on the progression of our car. For 3 weeks I saw my car sit outside of the service department and collect snow, then watched it melt off. I was told that I would receive updates every 48 hours by Aaron Trueblood - Service Manager, that also didn't happen. I feel that I was lied to by several service reps. they stated that a GM engineer was out 2-3 times, then we were told he they were out 7 times one week later. We were told that we were getting a rebuilt engine, while they only replaced the shell of the engine and put the original parts back inside. When we dropped the car off for delivery for the repairs it had a full tank of gas. When we finally received our car back they didn't replace the fuel (full tank) there was barely enough gas to to get the car to the gas station; that they used while having the car. They did want to make sure that we replaced all the fuel in the courtesy car that they lent us. We forgot my husband's parking pass in the the courtesy car contacted them to have them put it at the receptionist desk for us to pick up later in the day. Alexandra called us three times and the last conversation was it would be at the desk and they were open till 8pm. We arrived and no one knew anything about our parking pass, and they told us we would have to come back. Due to the frustrations of the entire situation I told them that they would need to find it then and not have us come back. We had asked for Aaron to call us back to talk about the whole situation and still to this day have not received a call back. More

They ran my credit through the mud because they were scrambling to find financing. Salesmen are pushy and they have like 4 people involved in the deal back and fourth and can't get a straight answer. These people are jerks and not friendly at all, what a shame!!! Jaime is the worst! More
Service specials are a scam! My wife took car in and they charged TWICE the charge listed on the site. When I called 2 hours after picking up the car they said they would not honor any coupon- even though site still offers "special" (and still shows to "call" for appt.) We also have a Buick and did the same thing with Power just last week, they had no problem with honoring coupon. Buyer beware- they will stick you.. More

Resolution to review from 5/12/16. I was contacted by a customer service representative from Capital Chevy. If I where rating that one employee there would be 5 stars but the service I was contacted by a customer service representative from Capital Chevy. If I where rating that one employee there would be 5 stars but the service department gets no credit or stars. The result of Capital Chevrolet lying to me and charging me for service under warranty was my entire engine being destroyed. I had to have my entire engine replaced at another dealership and fight for it to be covered under warranty. After this Capital Chevrolet did refund me for services done to my engine. If you have issues I would try to contact there customer service Rep. Charley, he seems to genuinely want to resolve these types of issues. Thank you Charley E. More
Illegally Charged for Services Under Warranty, Treated Bad DO NOT TRUST! I was illegally charged for services that where under warranty and treated horribly when I asked about my warranty. I dealt with Mark Fast and Aaron Trueblood in the service department. This company knowingly charged me for services that should have been free and denied it to my face but finally admitted it only after getting another dealership involved. PLEASE DONT USE THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT... BEWARE! I am currently having to get the same issue fixed at another dealership that Capital Chevrolet charged me over 1,500 without fixing the issue. Got Taken I bought my Dodge truck from this company 8 months ago and took it for a test drive. After the test drive I told the guy it was overheating he felt th I bought my Dodge truck from this company 8 months ago and took it for a test drive. After the test drive I told the guy it was overheating he felt the radiator and said no it is fine. They then brought a guy out of the office to had me sign a little pieces of paper that said as is no warranty. They know how badly I needed the truck. They kept reassuring me it was OK. I signed the paperwork and drove it home five miles where it overheated. I called them and they said bring it back in. They gave me my trade in car back while they fixed the truck. When I came to get the truck back they said it was a bad water pump. And asked me if I wanted to pay the $500 or they could add it into my financing. I had totally gotten taken by this company. I will never recommend this company and will never buy anything here again. I took my truck in for my free oil change but I am worried they will break something and charge me even more making my oil change not so free. If you buy there take a certified mechanic with you to go over your vehicle so you don't get taken like me. Update: They did try to make things right with me they gave me my $500 dollars back, however it took me writing this poor review of them for them to even respond to me. I believe they still owe me but my poor review still stands would not recommend or anyone about this poor dealership. They are not a good dealership to buy cars from avoid at all costs. More
